A few years ago I saw Inglourious Basterds with some relatives. I thought the guy who played Raine looked quite familiar, but I couldn't quite place it so I decided to voice my thoughts. It was Brad Pitt, they said. I vehemently disagreed, there no way THAT guy was also Tyler Durden. With the true essence of a

Radiohead's Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors. The heavy, thumping bass with odd, somewhat creepy intervals scattered in between just sucked me in and held my attention till the very end, outright refusing to be the background music I'd intended it to be from the moment I clicked play.

Any situation she put herself in, the rape is only the result of that man's choice to rape her and nothing else. One can get raped in literally any situation, whether they're sober, fully clothed and at home with someone they thought they could trust or whether they're drunk butt naked at a rave. Sure, it may be more

"what she has to say is more about what she learned from her own rape, not about "rape.""

But like I said, what she learned to not do does jack shit in preventing rape. Barely clothed drunk women have been raped, sober women in burkas have been raped. Teaching people not to rape may be a slow-acting solution, but it's the only one that can actually stop a potential rapist.
There's nothing wrong with

I am saying there is nothing one can do to really prevent rape besides teaching people not to rape and why not. Her choices were not responsible for what happened to her, the rapist's choice to rape her was. There is no responsibility for her to accept. And avoiding and saying other people should avoid certain things

What's she's saying is that she should take responsibility for putting herself in the position to get raped, but here's the thing, there is no such thing. Rape happens when someone decides to rape, period. There is no shared responsibility.
People enforcing restrictions such as not wearing skimpy clothes or not being

But that really isn't how it works. No one's to blame for rape besides the rapist, and most definitely not the victim.

It's sad enough that she blames herself for getting raped, but saying other women should blame themselves if they got raped while wearing skimpy clothes or being drunk is just beyond terrible.
Goes to show how toxic society's "boys will be boys" mentality is.

It did take me a while to like them, but now that I do I can't seem to get enough of them. I didn't like most of what I heard at first, but parts of each song kept me going back and now they've really grown on me. So you might just get into them if you listen to a song once, just pop it on without actively trying to

Champloo did the same for me earlier this year. On a side note, both have stellar soundtracks.

I've been going through a Radiohead obsession phase. Bangers + Mash, Exit Music (For A Film), Nude, and The Amazing Sounds Of Orgy were the earworms this weekend.
I also picked up The Girl on the Train. A delightfully unsettling read so far, but not as captivating as I'd hoped it'd be.
As for shows, I decided to give

Hard to pick just one. I tend to use these most commonly.
"You cut me off mid-funk!" - Freaks and Geeks
"I don't have low self-esteem. I have low esteem for everyone else." - Daria
"Well that was a freebie." - Arrested Development
"My emotions!" - Community. Usually reserved for when people don't get these.
