Aren’t these the flowers that Audrey II was found amongst? I don’t think we need to start that.

The thing I really like about Wonder Woman as a character is that she’s royalty (the few times I came across her in comics she was a queen). To me that’s her most interesting characteristic, and what sets her apart from other superheroes.

I don’t think it would be. It would be a mammoth/elephant chimera. It could tell us a lot about mammoths, but we couldn’t definitively claim it was one.

I’m sure this is true for many places, but they do this sort of thing at most major Mexican events.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your effort to join the conversation. Apparently, you’re unaware that your comment agrees with mine - you might want to go back to remedial English and improve your comprehension skills.

Well, of course she beat Plastic Man if he didn’t have his right-hand man Woozy with him. Both at once though? I think not.

But could she beat...

Exactly. Thinking over the movie again, everything was foreshadowed. The first time you see her she’s abseiling within a Star Destroyer in a particularly fearless way. She’s been fighting for her life since she was a child. She built her speeder herself, so she knows a lot about mechanics (although that wasn’t in the

This whole situation is dodgy. He apparently can’t see the hypocrisy of what he’s doing and saying. If he wants to be serious he needs to get accredited and he needs to link up with zoos and other people and organisations trying to help the species...but I don’t think he will, because it’s all about love.

That’s pretty much what I remember... an absurdist comedy.
If you had revealed that the entire series had been based on historical events, or contained disguised within it lessons on quantum mechanics, that would have been a whole new level of weird.

Damage Control in the DC Universe? It’ll all depend on how it’s done, but it could be pretty awesome.

Let’s CELEBRATE!

Here’s a counter-example: Monkey (Monkey Magic, Journey to the West). I could probably come up with a bunch of examples like this, but this will do. In Monkey the “Chosen One” is Tripitaka, who has been chosen to go and fetch some holy scriptures, but it is Monkey who does all the work fighting and protecting and so

I was going to bring up Star Wars, because it seemed that was an effective way to subvert the trope - the Chosen One achieves their goal/wins the confrontation, and then replaces the antagonist and becomes worse than they ever were. Another way is for the Chosen One to achieve a nebulous aim that wasn’t what everyone

Ha! That’s right. You remember a lot better than I do. Where did did I get my idea of the name from?

Remember Larry the Lounge Suit Lizard? Now that was a sexy game.

Whenever I tell people I’m from Australia (I live in Mexico) they always point out that it’s a long way away, and ask how long the flight is. I tell them, and that starts a discussion of just how far away it is and how hard it is to get to... but it’s generally less than 24 hours if you have a visa for the US. Compare

It’s a good point. Are they starting in the plane or the city? If it was LAX you should add at least 4 hours just to get into the terminal

You can understand Darth Vader? At least Luke Skywalker is in the movie - for a couple of seconds - and will presumably be in the following ones. But Vader didn’t even show up as a force ghost.

If it’s meant to be for the whole 7 movies, why only have four figures? That’s ridiculous. Even if there are only four

This could have been a story that mocks early astronomers: look at the mistakes they made! How could they have believed this?!
