Umm, the future does not look good for consoles. Every 10 years all of your games you bought becomes unusable with the new console while the pc lets you play your games forever. Already you're seeing more and more people hooking pc's up to their tv's. Anything that a console can do, a PC can do and do it better.

SAO is much more passionate in that there is always the threat of death looming over the players, so there is always that feeling of potential loss. One of the major drawbacks to log horizon at least up until the goblin invasion ... without SPOILING too much.
