Looks like the rear right tire has a plain steel wheel, so maybe a spare? Probably whatever Firestone rubber those trucks rolled off the assembly line with.
I don’t recall seeing many Hybrids in Vegas, mostly newer Malibus (last time I was there was in 2012), but I did see Prii and Escape Hybrids (Escaprius?) from time to time.
Between gas, payments and maintenance... sounds like he’s using his Uber income to make the car payments. Yes, I am aware that the extra miles will depreaciate the car and whatnot, but if he’s willing to take a $2-3k hit when he sells it in exchange for paying it off quicker, it’s not a bad deal.
I was curious and just googled it, some results point out to the Carfax showing liens (I’m sure Doug DeMuro knows this one for sure, since he seems to run carfaxes instead of smoking cigarettes). It does sound like one of the potentially most inaccurate pieces of information, but, at least having a “yes” would be…
The fact that one time I was woken up by a phone call asking me to quote a U-Haul car trailer followed by “what’s the maximum you can tow, and if it’s cheaper than a tow truck, could you help us relocate XXXX’s car back to his house?” convinced me that having the towing capacity of a Yukon wouldn’t be a bad idea. For…
If you look at the 16MY Pilot, it looks like a 15MY CR-V had sex with a 15MY Enclave.
It’s good if you don’t have truck needs, besides the occasional need to transport a potted palm tree from Lowes.
Or when you’re using all but one lb of the towing capacity and get a flat. Can’t imagine towing 6000lb on a donut.
Does the Carfax report if a car has a lien on it?
Do you live in Dublin Ohio? if you do, it must be because they work at Honda.
Plus the RDX and MDX, if you count as a group.
Jeezus. I wondered how much of the “Mexican built vehicles are crap” was plain old UAW / keep local jobs local propaganda and how much it was real. I guess if I want to buy a Ram, I’ll make sure I end up with one that was proudly built with Norteño labor.
Were Saltillo-built trucks really better than SLN-built ones or were you spiteful for SLN’s attitude?
Can’t upvote this enough.
Exactly what I thought. $1000 beaten up 1/2 ton from Craigslist or Ritchie Bros for commuting, good vehicle (regardless of mfr) for fun. That said, working at Ford/GM/FCA, I’m sure it’s possible to find a $1000 90s truck that is composed of 43% steel, 7% duct tape, 50% rust.
I guess the Chevrolet Classic is as close as it gets to that.
Nissan Camiones was more of the family market name, and maybe the name they used for titling purposes. They used to sell 4 variants, named: King Cab (which was a little more equipped than the others, and had a King Cab), Pickup (single cab, long bed), Estaquitas (single cab, and a factory stake body, short length),…
Ok your story wins.
There are certain utility companies (or their payment processors) that tack on a surcharge that is anywhere between $2.50 and $4 to process card payments. Forever stamps are 46? cents, and checks are about 10 cents each.
