I am very pleased to see Shockwave Rider get a little recognition. I try and get people to read it as the first cyberpunk book, and, I think, a surprisingly prescient book once you allow for the 1975 idea of what future technology is going to be. You used to see people using Nickie Halflinger as a Web alias quite

What about the "Bernard" from Dr. Who?

I was thinking that Texas was the US equivalent. Because France is roughly the size of Texas. I see it used as a comparison fairly regularly.

I am surprisingly happy this show is back on. I have recently realized how much I like the collection of weird, unknown objects genre, what with this show and Dr. Thackery Lambshead's Cabinet of Curiosities.

I did too. It seemed like such a natural.

Man, I remember that movie. As I recall, Bunta gets stepped on by the surprisingly sneaky T-Rex. I always get this movie mixed up in my mind with the one where the Nazi submarine surfaces in some sort of lost dinosaur paradise. But I am not going to bother looking to see what that one is.

True, but the Channel Islands aren't very far.

Lascaux is a good bit older and their proportions were pretty good. I don't see the problem.

I have worked very, very hard not to be spoiled on this season of Dr. Who, and I have only been partly successful. I would have had to turn on the Internet to not know anything, and I am too weak to do that.

Pretty good. Now try explaining the backstory to Hawkman and Donna Troy. I dare you.

Seems like H.P. Lovecraft must have read about this before he wrote "Facts Concerning the Late Arthur Jermyn and his Family".

This can be a really fine comic. I love the time travelers trying to Hitler one. The Sphinx is always fun. But I have to say that this one is my favorite: [www.viruscomix.com] and in fact, possibly my favorite webcomic of all time.

I am a little disappointed that Arm-Fall-Off Boy wasn't included in powers of the body. And the Gibbon doesn't have the powers of a monkey. He's just a big dumb guy in a gibbon suit.

A little older, but what about F'Lar and Lessa from the Dragonriders series? Not only are they a couple but their dragons are couples too.

Nice article, and it managed to keep my blood pressure down by not even mentioning Barry Fell, who I would gladly punch in the face if he weren't dead already. I was not familiar with the chicken bone bit. That's really interesting.

Really amazing that someone thought to do this. This comic is weird and awesome. And whoever suggested John Cho for lead is exactly right. He would be perfect.
