As long as this doesn't go into "Funes the Memorious" territory I think that it sounds like terrific news.

Douglas Adams was so prescient:

I have no interest in this movie having never seen the show, but after reading this review all I can think is "I really want an Asiadilla. That sounds really good."

Woo hooo! I make the list. Glad to know my knowledge of archival techniques and procedures will let me survive the apocalypse.

As a librarian and archivist, I have to disagree with the contention that the Internet has made those methods obsolete. While there is a vast amount of information that is easily Googled at any time, there is also a vast number of papers and books that are not digital and never will be.

@AldoraGreel: Funny thing is, I just read that he does have a dancing piece of bacon on his body somewhere.

I am 99% sure that he is a friend's employee. Apparently my friend only hires insane people.

The only thing I want to know is what form the "gatoroid" takes. I am really hoping that it is some sort of exo-suit that Tiffany has built in her garage ....that looks just like a giant alligator! I think that the genetic engineering aspect has been overdone.

@Fungi from Berkeley: That's the episode that I really remember as well. And the kids became famous, but had to hide their faces on the tour posters so the evil bad guy wouldn't know it was them. The bad guy was the most memorable thing about the show because he was later in Beverly Hills Cop.

@Neon: Well, maybe... But he has been pretty much responsible for the boys getting killed multiple times, and doesn't seem to think much of them during the times when they are alive.

@Garrison Dean: R.O.A.C.H.: Well, I am basing it on my personal experiences. I was 7, almost 8 when it came out, so of course that is the correct age. I feel sorry for you in that you were exposed to early. You'll never be able to experience them in the proper way.

I have been wrestling with this one. I am just hoping that I can get my son to 7 before he watches the original Star Wars. But Star Wars is so ubiquitous in our culture I am a bit doubtful that I will be able to make it or not.

@Omitofo: I can't believe that you even mentioned that idea. Don't you know that you shouldn't name evil?

@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: It took me years to find out that I hadn't hallucinated that movie. I finally "found" a copy online. Truly amazing. Christopher Lee as an evil scientist ship's engineer.

@JodaThongnopnua: Perhaps my post was a bit dismissive. I found it (and Undisputed II) quite enjoyable. But I think that they have to be identified as simplistic action movies. Scott Adkins is very impressive in his role as Boyka. One of the most intimidating characters I have seen on film.

The only problem with this concept is that it presupposes competence on the part of the North Korean government.

@DarthChimay: Amazing. I just saw Undisputed III and it falls under the category of movie that was much better than it had any right to be. I mean, still a meat-headed action movie, but a pretty strong one.

A brilliant clip. I have to say that by far my favorite bit is that the "monster" carefully used the banister to run up the stairs.
