Well, assuming the country isn't willing to replace the missing younger population by taking in more immigrants. Population isn't declining everywhere.

Anybody else see this as good news?
You don't need to fix anything for me. BUT THANKS. I have absolutely no judgment on people who choose IVF. Zero. In fact I am very thankful that there are ALL KINDS of options for couples who deal with infertility or need to go these routes to have biological children. I have 5 people in my life who have chosen IVF,…
She is not judging people who choose IF. She is saying there are a lot less invasive and cheaper fertility treatments available, which is true. So people shouldn't feel like it's super expensive IVF or nothing.
Adoption is super easy. You just go to the baby pound and pick out a cute one who wags its tail at you, don't you know?
We can agree to disagree. Different cultures celebrate it differently. For my culture, a wedding is symbolic of joining two families, and expanding those two families. That just reinforces why I said, no one way to do a wedding is wrong, it's just different.
Ughhh.... Every time there's a post about weddings, he comments section is always overwhelmed with people bragging about how they just went to the courthouse with their best friend and their dog and it was the best decision they ever made in life. Well... good for you. Please realize, that not everyone has the same…

I mean, honestly, though, convenience foods are pretty fucking convenient. I know it takes me less time to put a trader joe's fucking delicious pizza in the oven (15 mins including preheating) than it does to make even something like chicken and veggies. Plus I don't have to do as many dishes. Plus that pizza is…
Let's not conflate healthy food with organic food, especially in the childhood obesity discussion. Organic/non-organic really has no bearing. (And I don't know how to say this next part without sounding bitchy, but I assure you that's not the intention): If the probably-college-educated author of this piece can't…

I understand that. However, other diners also forked over $400 to eat there, and they complained about the crying baby. So, which is worse? One couple forfeiting $400 or 12 tables hating their $400 experience (and quite possibly either slamming the restaurant for not doing anything about it in a review OR telling all…
Ask any ordinary state trial judge, and she'll tell you that much of her time is absorbed in dealing with divorce, custody, and support proceedings relating to monogamous relationships. Untangling legal relationships and property/custody issues within polygamous relationships seems like a substantial burden to put on…
I wonder if this could be done as sort of...well, like a group distribution list in an email program, to use a crude metaphor.
This is the crux of my opposition to "traditional" polygamy. If there is a hub-and-spokes setup, where the husband is the hub and the spokes have no connection with each other except through him, then that seems wrong to me. It creates space for resentment and jealousy and the ability for hubby (geddit?) to play one…
Dude divorces first wife, but is still married to wife 2, 3, 4, 5. So who's assets are we diving up? Does first wife then get half of *everything*? Or heck, can the dude even divorce wife 1 if wife 2,3,4,5 disagree? Who is actually married to whom?
Right? Fuck. Mine will either go to a goodwill or prom dress donation deal like dforce2 mentioned.
So, here's the deal with wedding dresses, because I tried on about 10 million of them before I bought one, and my mom was *insistent* I wear a strap wedding dress.
Check to see if there is some kind of prom dress donation group in your area. I grew up in a really poor little town, and tons of girls I knew got fancy dresses from such events. I know that my last BM dress was for real a prom gown.
