Have you been paying any attention at all over the past 20 years in this country? How many “stolen” sex tapes got released and ended up boosting the career of someone on the “d” list? There are plenty of people out there that think all publicity is good publicity.

A tv personality has to be credible. Through no fault of her own, her credibility was questioned. ESPN and EA had to face this reality and the best way to deal with it was through the interview, (GMA or Oprah doesn’t matter). I don’t think ESPN’s sensitivity, or lack thereof, is an issue. EA could’ve chosen not to do…

I think, no matter your situation, there is no better PR move than going on Oprah. While I’m sure there are still Andrews haters out there, I think it would be far worse if she didn’t do that interview. As much as she hated doing it, I’m sure she has experienced more support and less of the haters because of it.

Not buying it. An Oprah interview is usually the type of thing that sways public opinion your way. Certainly it put to rest any sane person’s thought about whether the video was leaked as some sort of publicity stunt.

No one knew what to think when the story first broke, I sure don’t claim to. I mean the reality is so jacked up, who wouldn’t be suspicious about what really happened?
