Working at a major OEM also (foreign), the energy and investment being poured into EV innovation paints a different picture. The tech and toolsets are evolving on a near daily basis. Today’s limitations won’t exist tomorrow.

It’s a safe bet that EV technology will light years ahead of ICE 22 years from now.

3 suggestions: Commit more than 24 months to your racing program. If you decide to explore unproven engineering, prepare to invest time and burn cash. And, set your performance targets higher than the current benchmarks.

I mean, they’ve already got the “Lightning” marque. Would be a natural fit and effortless marketing to point their truck electrification/hybridization efforts towards a performance proposition.
