@EthanPeter: "iMovie-and-Photoshop averse CPU"

Ok, so it can do exactly what a $300 netbook can do...but it's a little thinner...and $1K...and Gizmodo recommends it?

"I personally blame the internet...."

@Ash78 smells more like Designer Imposters than Teen Spirit:

@Little Time Bomb: Exactly, I doubt commenters would react this way if a gay Muslim couple was treated this way renewing their vows in Rome or the Vatican.

@GitEm$teveDave: Damn I wish I could find one for $5. I've loaded DD-WRT on mine and it's been overclocked and running non-stop for about two years straight now. I moved, so my uptime stats got reset :(, but that was at somewhere upwards of 300 days.

Linksys WRT-54GL, still the winner in my book. No N, but if you need speed use wires right?

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: NO. It's not a "few legitimate peers" it's one quarter of all peers possible through IPv4 addressing. The majority of "address spaces" blocked are not actually owned by anti-p2p, minute portions are leased or DHCP'd from ISP's that, in turn, lease them from larger telecoms.

@cullenmcd: It's generally against policy and you can lose your internet privileges on campus at the very least, sometimes permenantly. You cannot hide from a good network admin, which most campuses have. Generally, it's probably not worth sacrificing your education for.

First off, why would you suggest that one should stop seeding after a certain point? Isn't the whole of BT based on people continually sharing. If it's all about share ratio for you, you're doing it wrong.

Maserati GranTurismo. There's no particular reason to buy this car other than it's fucking awesome. There's faster, better handling cars for the money, a few better looking...but the sound of that engine, the fact that it exists solely to be impractical, and the sound of that engine!

@Joseph A Luxa: Probably around $6-8K on the local CL market...maybe more.

Be sure to visit the CL post and vote for "Best-of-Craigslist" in the upper right.

@patman: That, sir, is a good idea.

I've been waiting for the day where somewhere in the natural world, researchers discover an efficient solution to an NP-Complete problem. I imagine it's incredibly simple and nearly half the scientific community commits suicide because they have no idea how they missed it. Maybe this is the start...

Before going out and suggesting casual readers do this, you might want to mention that cracking WiFi and using it may be a felony where they live.
