I'm not defending it. The proper term for Maher's feelings towards Islam is "bigotry," not "racism."

Because since he's a comedian and a believer in free speech he feels he should be able to say anything.

Islam is not a race.

Ah. Does he still though?

I mean, surely he could have just said, "I don't work any fucking fields and neither do you, senator."

I like Maher, I don't think he's racist, I kinda see what he was trying to say (only slightly kinda), but what an absolutely fucking stupid thing to say.

Thanks for the info. And I do get the feeling that Gotham is running short on time. Like I wouldn't be surprised if it got cancelled after next season, but I think it probably needs two more seasons to get it to a decent end point. If they could only be consistent in storytelling.

Which one? And where can I find these numbers?

While I'm happy that Superstore won't be getting moved around, I'm now doubly unhappy that Fox moved Gotham to Thursday. Oh, well, that's what DVR's are for.

He is so annoying, he is so frightening, and he never wears a shirt!

I always thought he was talentless. I used to think the same thing about Kimmel, even though I found him mildly entertaining on Win Ben Stein's Money.

This season had a lot of great individual moments, but I'm not sure that the overall story ended up working. Like the review said, I might have to go back and binge the entire season to see how it works. I am definitely frustrated that they didn't wrap up with some kind of resolution in the "real" timeline. Since

Yep. Knowing a little about Moses' history, much of which I was introduced to in HBO's Brooklyn Dodgers documentary from several years ago, I laughed so hard at that sight gag.

Yep. And I don't understand why she wouldn't believe Jim about Mario after she saw firsthand how crazy Barnes had become.

I'm probably more forgiving of this show than most, but, jeez, has Lee been the most annoying, poorly-written character this year or is it just me?

Cool. I'll be interested to see where they go from here.

I was thinking that myself. I watched that on Hulu when I was sick a few days last year and thought it was pretty good, especially for a network TV-produced miniseries, which basically don't exist anymore.

Who's worse? You guessed it: Frank Stallone!

I hate it when Bill ascribes to me powers that I clearly do not possess. If I had those powers, he'd have joined his buddy on the slab.

You know, I've always suspected a bit of foul play there.
