Yep. We can acknowledge that Black History Month isn’t sufficient without saying that Pride Month is too much. It’s not one or the other - they don’t have to compete, and they shouldn’t compete.

You realize this isn’t just about her, right? It’s about precedent. Yes, she can afford this surgery, but if she publicly wins this, a struggling actor who can’t afford it will get covered and can point to this if denied.

Without anything else, it’s not significant at all.  Cases settle constantly right before trial - that’s EXTREMELY common, and it probably has absolutely nothing to do with her.  Your insinuation is not warranted or responsible.
