I have no words that can encompass how bad this is.

I have no idea. Someone said he’s dying and doesn’t care. That tracks. Way to not give a fuck about the long-lasting impacts of violating attorney-client privilege in a very public way. Fuck this guy.
Yup. All I can think of is that he just doesn’t care that he’s going to disbarred and that he’s eroding the trust of all clients everywhere.
I don’t practice in that jurisdiction, but there is no way on earth that this doesn’t violate ethics rules. He just doesn’t give a fuck.
I am absolutely horrified and offended by this lawyer. Attorney-client privilege is beyond essential to what we do, and this shit is why some of our clients don’t trust us. Fuck this guy. Fuck him. I’m so livid. It’s beyond unethical. You don’t want the case? Don’t fucking take the case then. No one made you - you’re…
No. This is horrifying.
...Yeah.
I absolutely will - no question.
Gypsy’s case is unbelievable and *almost* a perfect example of how fucked up our criminal justice system is. I say this because, undoubtedly, there are cases of victims who have endured horrific abuse who kill their abusers and get longer sentences than this. That is not to say that this isn’t horrible - it really is.
I don’t know who I’ll be supporting yet. I need more information, as well as to see if anyone else enters. I’m not super-psyched about anybody yet, and there are a couple that I’m pretty sure aren’t getting my vote (for similar reasons) based on what I do know. But as of now, I’m pretty open.
I don’t agree with your position on truancy, but we don’t have to.
This sums up a lot of it, and I’m honestly exhausted from a day in arraignments to go any further. Her truancy position really upset me.
She has, actually. I’ve read a lot of her responses, and I don’t think they are sufficient. Particularly regarding truancy.
Voting is sacred. I will use it to keep Donald Trump out of office. Because Kamala Harris is better than he is. I would be voting for someone better than he is. I will vote for someone else that I like better in the primary - should Kamala win, that person won’t be running in the general, and I would consider it…
Look. I’ll vote for him if he wins the primary, just like I’ll grit my teeth and vote for Kamala (despite how much I hate her prosecutorial record) if she wins the primary because they are both not Trump. But I don’t not want to vote for him because I don’t like him. I don’t want to vote for him because I think he…
I understand how reasonable diversion sounds to you. As someone who works in the courts day after day, I agree that this is normal. However, we all act like prosecutorial discretion doesn’t exist. Like we’re doing her some giant favor by not throwing her in jail. It’s not okay to pat ourselves on the back for not…
Every. Damn. Time.
Take your damn star.
That’s a really fucking terrible apology.
Honestly, it felt like someone watched The Happening, and was like, “Yeah, I can fix this.”
