We need to squash one point before it goes any further. Rogan did not call black people Apes. He said he walked in to planet of the apes and there were a lot of black people in the theater. At no time did he link the two in that video. Opportunistic rage baiters would have you believe otherwise, be better. 

I played through the first Crackdown at least 5 times. I smiled constantly while playing it.

If it fought for you that would really make it worth the time. 

But learning has many stages. You CAN still use this to learn a language. I’ve met some people who have learned in even weirder, more convoluted ways from scratch. All depends on your drive, focus and ability to learn. 

I could see this being useful for adults too. Just wish they had some kind of flap to cover the zipper. Seems odd to encourage you to sleep with something with a large, glaring zipper. Don’t want to wake with a zipper impression in my face LOL

That’s HUGE. The first game was a slog fest as all enemies became predictable bullet sponges. You never felt like you were leveling or some kind of survival badass...you always had to shoot, cover, shoot, cover, shoot, cover, heal...repeat. 

Learning a language doesn’t magically stop once you learn some basic vocabulary. Still need to continue practicing through listening, particularly with real world uses. So while it’s not a great place to start, far from a failure as a learning tool! :)
