A real coup often requires incredible amounts of work and risk, especially with a nation this size. Lying to a bunch of people and collecting PAC funds is very easy though. However, that severely understates the long term impacts this administration will have on the country.

This movie is insanely fun. I can honestly say I never thought I’d see a fresh spin on the Groundhog Day trope, but damned it this didn’t pull it off. I’ve watched it 3 times, usually while mildly buzzed, & enjoyed it every time.

It is only unlikely because Trump is doing it now instead of in four years time. ICE, law enforcement, and especially the Military all have a real problem with rightwing extremists infiltrating them, but the infiltrators are all still at pretty low levels of seniority right now. If this had happened in four years

As the Associated Press reports, the new law will permit people arrested with small amounts of hard drugs to avoid jail time and criminal trials by paying a $100 fine and attending an addiction recovery program.

“It’s not just that we can be better, it’s that we have to be better. We’re not good enough right now.”

We’re talking about people buying luxury homes in a place that may be borderline uninhabitable in 20-30 years

How do you get to be that stupid and work for a luxury real estate company?

Pete Carrol may want to think about Metcalf on defense. At least there would be one guy on that unit able to run down, and tackle.

Budda Baker’s double take when he saw Metcalf

“I am a Christian, a husband to my loving wife of 8 years as well as a father of two and am proud of the life that we have built-in McNeil, Arkansas.”

Not sure where else to post this, but everybody should see it - here’s how a journalist should handle a politician when the lies and bullshit start flowing. This NZ far-right shitgibbon just lost his seat and she eviscerates him:

So Amy Coney Barrett's main qualification is being a wine drinking mom?  Waiting for my call to fill the next open seat.  I'm not a judge or lawyer, but she doesn't seem to think that's relevant, based on her responses.

He also fronts The Alex Skolnick Trio, a jazz side project.

Also, Alex Skolnick, according to INTERNET, is worth ~5 million dollars. He is expecting your call.

A reply mentions he should have said:

There’s also the issue that basically all of those ballots are likely to ruled invalid because they haven’t been properly filled out. To collect someone else’s absentee ballot in California, the person collecting it has to be identified on the outside of the ballot by the person voting. You can’t just drop it in a box

Fucking nauseating.

Well, no.

Heads up, Cali - don’t get fooled by the lying GOP
