You are correct, sir.

The overall plot of II is really about the Exile’s emotional journey, and canonically at least, back to the light and to restoring the order. There’s so many things the game’s story is commenting on: depression/mental illness, the aftermath of devastating wars, trauma, survivor’s guilt, nihilism, etc.

Shirtless Manny Jacinto. I never thought this day would come.

“Well, she was a lot.”

Manny Jacinto’s biceps this episode. That’s it. That’s the comment.

Judge Gen and Thanos, now that would be an unstoppable combo

“Crisis of Infinite Janets” - that’s the kind of quality comment I’m here for

The Judge sure was channeling her inner Thanos tonight.

Unless there’s some crazy twist coming, it looks like that kooky theory of “This has all been a test for the original four” seems to be laid to rest at last.

May I point out that Janet, who knows everything, pronounced Gif with the “G” sound, showing for once and for all that this is how it’s pronounced.

Holy crap Crisis of Infinite Janets is happening in the judge’s chambers.

DEAD AF

To quote Leslie Knope, “Assault should be legal if the person is a jerk.”

Dunno if you listen to the podcast, but the boomer bit is apparently straight from Megan Amram, who might be one of the single greatest one-liner generators this side of the Styx.

“Boy that guy Brent sucks. Good thing I’m nothing like him!”

That Peralta scene with Stacy Keach was great, but it was always a little jarring that Keach’s character called Holt a ‘homo’. It’s like his language was being passed through the Good Place filter and he was actually using a more directly offensive slur.

“There’s a reason I took the form of a 45 year-old white male. I can only fail up.”

Brents don’t know they’re Brents.

He gave a fantastic, standard-issue, “I’m sorry if you were offended” apology, the king of non-apologies. He’s peak worst white male in the world, he may be the worst person in existence.

Matt Gaetz is probably Brent’s favorite congressman.
