Yeah, I got the same sort of feeling from it as I did when Luke’s last words to Leia in Star Wars were “no one’s ever really gone”. Obviously both were meant to mean something different when the scene was originally written (in this case, just another example of how Fred Andrews was always the least horrible parent in

Hey! Archie’s always been stupid.

“You’ll give me a gym for practically no reason, no strings attached? Pinky swear you won’t try to kill me again? Cool. Sounds legit, and not at all like something that will bite me in the ass within an episode or two”.

I kinda liked this one and it felt more like an episode from earlier in the series when all the drama was balanced by a healthy dose of camp. Jug and Betty are better when they’re working together rather than separately, and it was nice to have Archie end things on a high note for once. Out of all of Archie’s many

Totally agreed. Who pissed in his cheerios?

Yeah in terms of other marvel TV shows, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. uses Daisy’s quake powers really well; I’m continually impressed with how well they use her in fight scenes. Lorna and her daggers... not so much; I just think after ripping a plane out of the sky (in what was probably still her best moment on the show)

I was more expecting Kelly or Gordon to say something along the lines of “it was the captain of our ship who let a Krill return in order to try and make peace” so the Krill captain might give them the benefit of the doubt, but then the Kaylon ship showed up.

Most enjoy a pretty good sci-fi show with some comic elements.  Some are joyless trolls wasting their time making poorly reasoned nitpicks trying to denigrate said show.

I really liked how after a strong season built around more intimate character exploration/building this episode switched gears to awesome space combat stuff, which they’ve only done bits and pieces of before. Not to say the character stuff wasn’t also really strong in this episode too (especially the ending), but I

They were amazing hunky detectives back in the day.

Then they discovered hot wings.

Buyer’s remorse” AKA title of your sex tape.

Did you always run this “crap on things people like” thing, or is that a new look? I can’t remember.

Oh c’mon, it would look so ridiculous if Martin showed up in GoT in a stormtrooper helmet.

I think in shows and movies about superpowered characters, one of the things that set the difference between a good writer and a mediocre or bad writer is how they manage the characters’ powers to make them exciting, balanced due to budgetary and narrative constraints, yet consistent.

It was pretty obvious that Esme would end up on the good side because she’s gotten the most characterization of the triplets (read: only one to get a name). From the promo pic of the last episode I actually thought she would leave with Lorna and Andy then; I was surprised when she didn’t. I was also surprised that

I get that they needed to under-power Lorna (and other characters) for the budget of the show because there was just no way that would have allowed for her to be as powerful and therefore do as many cool things as Magneto in the movies, but it has been consistently painful to watch her in fight scenes. She controls

Well, that season was just a whole bunch of wheel-spinning.

The Struckers are a little grating, but I don’t mind the kids (I even think Andy has improved) and I do like Acker and Moyer despite the material they’ve gotten. They usually make me tired, but for some reason, here, they sold the flashbacks and his sacrifice well, and I think I may have actually felt sad about the

I may be alone in this, but this show has a relentless downer this season. The character arcs have been constantly vexing. Andy: Portrait of a Young Douche. Caitlin turning into Jack Bauer or some shit (one week she’s torturing a drug addict, another week she’s putting Morlocks in harm’s way to save her and Lauren).

But that’s not a new thing this season. The built on ships and social media thing was clearly around in season two when it became all about bughead or barchie or vughead or hashtagging darkbetty. And they bogged down otherwise compelling plots with all that ship nonsense.
