Not a good time to lose one’s head.
Not a good time to lose one’s head.
Oh yeah, that scene with Fred was great. I don’t give him credit as a parent a lot of the time because he is mostly just the one that isn’t great but relative to some of the other nutjobs, he’s an oasis of normality; but overall he was pretty good this episode. And Luke Perry is awesome in the role and he totally…
I think this episode and last episode are pretty good proof to Riverdale being back on track; if not, they have at least succeeded on the merits of being better than a lot of the other mid-season crap. Really liked the episode and especially the cliffhanger; parts of some of these plots really don’t work for me or…
I agree with you better than what’s come before, still not as good as the show at its best. The dark Betty stuff and sexualizing of Betty needs to go; Riverdale has a really hard time comprehending when and where to sexualize minors (it’s no where and never!).
I still have a problem with the Jughead stuff for obvious…
I really liked the Cuckoos in this episode. Blink and Polaris remain my other favourite characters while a lot of the others just remain bland; part of why I like the Cuckoos is because they poke at the stupid morals and principles so many characters go on and on about.
It is also cool that the purifiers are around so…
You beat me to it. But I will use a quote from a comic that I read a few years ago. When Nick Fury asked a nazi if he had any last words and the nazi gave the typical just follow orders line, all Fury had to say was: “that’s just unoriginal”
Yeah I really hope they use the triplets well. I think it would be really great if they brought in their own version of Emma Frost.
To me Dreamer was never that important in terms of her powers; I liked the character well enough but her powers just seemed to be telepathy but without being able to control someone and…
Emma Frost has actually been more of a good guy recently since she joined the X-Men a few years ago. She’s never gone back to full villain (as far as I’ve read) but she has always been more of an anti-hero. It’d be pretty easy to imagine her making a bunch of human soldiers kill each other/themselves telepathically…
Can you translate that for dumb guys who might also be a little drunk?
I’m just here to point out that 616 is the mainstream marvel universe in the comics. I thought that was a nice easter egg in the same episode the multiverse is mentioned.
I love your Riverdale reviews. I kind of wish your riverdale roulette this week was the town that dreaded sundown because I thought it would be so I watched it before watching this episode.
Love the red hood reference. Love everything about it.
