Would hope there is more to your life than putting notes on stranger’s motor vehicles.

The lights on the back of your car aren’t for you. They’re for me.

Honestly, I could careless what color the rear lights are (and reflectors) with a few caveats:

Umm.... you forgot to tint the red calipers.

I was going to say that it’s because people are stupid, and then you post this...

did anyone reply “that’s because you tinted your lights, dumbass?”

Personally I prefer people seeing my car if I park somewhere at night but that’s just me.

In PA, I can add whatever I want on the bumper, but can’t use a lightbar on the street. I can have it, but it has to be covered like the old Hella or PIAA driving lights. You can’t tint any light, either.

Now, that doesn’t mean people don’t, or even that its enforced unless the cop is trying to be an asshole to you on

Some people don’t like having red on the back of their cars?

you realize those things exist so other people can see your car at night, right? You realize other people exist in this world, right?

Rear red reflectors = compliance

Safety be dammed, right...

It is illegal, at least in my state.  I’m sure they’re fine in others (Florida seems to be pretty much anything goes with stupid aesthetic mods), but they’re not legal everywhere.

Tinting taillights/head lights etc. should be illegal. And it should actually be enforced.

The unstated question is “Am I an idiot for making it harder to see my car, reflectors and tailights” . Mustang dudes answer is Yes.

I guess maybe if you’re rocking that whole smoked-taillight look for all your rear lights, this might make sense? Is that it?”

That makes that Mustang look like a plastic toy I could accidentally snap with my fingers. Which, I guess points for them for making their car look as frail as their ego is?

I can’t help you there; I have no idea why someone would do that. I am, in fact, one of those people who adds a strip of that red and white reflector tape (as seen on most trailers) to the back bumper of my cars.

Many people like their cars to reflect themselves.
