I had to play by their rules to get the crown... But after I won, they could play by mine.

On top of this movie being, predictable, insipid and nothing like actual life, I’m afraid they’re going to make me crazy with the adoption storyline. Two of my kids are adopted. I’m their real mother, no one else is. They’re my real kids. We’re not on loan to each other. We can’t give each other back on days when we’d

I like it.

Well, now that it affects men...

I know right?

They each have a personal twitter account as well as an official joint account? The thirst is real. I have decided I hate them and I will not be swayed.

Can we fucking end it with the “mom” as a qualifier. How fucking dumbing of women. “Ohhhhh she can do this, she is on our side, she know what’s up: SHE IS A MOM!”. FOR FUCK’S SAKE.

I was an ugly, awkward teenager, and I had this beautiful, sad friend. We used to listen to David Bowie in the dark and hold hands.

Nope. He’s not. I fully understand that would rather believe that Trump is a plant rather than accept the fact that this country is way more fascist/racist/despicable than we want to admit. But no. We are heading down a truly bad path.

Jaimie Alexander

I adopted a cat today from the Humane Society!!!!!

That seems to be the Academies M.O.: snub an actor for a brilliant performance, wait a few years, try to rectify the mistake by giving them an Oscar for an ok performance that isn’t the best out of the current nominees, thereby snubbing someone else more deserving, wait a few years, rectify THAT mistake by giving them

No, he deserved an Oscar for both “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?” and “The Aviator”. If (*coughs*when*coughs*) he wins for the Revenant, I’ll treat this like I treated Denzel Washington’s win for “Training Day”... I’ll pretend he won for one of his better performances (in Denzel’s case, “Malcolm X”).

First, I love Jezebel. And I have to say that even the negative comments about me on this site are much less mean spirited than on the WaPo site. A lot of angry dudes calling me a golddigger, fat, unattractive, wishing me STDs ...I could go on but you get the picture.

Yes, every statement about not having kids is an attack on parents. As every statement about children is an attack on childless women.

I know this sounds a little like “why don’t you think of the men involved for once”, but really Planned Parenthood is good for everybody who is poor and wants to have safe sex. When I was a promiscuous-and-penniless student, I was able to go to Planned Parenthood for STI screenings and condoms.

So he’s a Gail the Snail?

“Tyga has been dogged in his pursuit of the minor (who does look older than her years in online photos)”

Judging by his defense of a 49 year old man, in a position of power, trying to get a 17 year old girl (who came to him for a job) to have inappropriate, sexually explicit, conversations in secret.... I think “fucking helpless children” is probably what he was going for.

I watched some of the same Gawker posters switch their argument from, “There are only a few victims! If he’s been raping all these years why aren’t there more women?” to “There’s no way he could have raped so many women and gotten away with it, and the number of accusers proves it’s a conspiracy” as the story
