Absolutely. Have you read A Child Called It? Broke my heart. We were raised the same way; 5 kids & 1 suffered the worst abuse—and we were all goaded into participating, or suffer worse circumstances...as we got older, we kids closed ranks and began resisting, but the damage was done.
