Lineage II flawlessly did realtime 3D SEAMLESS siege warfare 10 years ago and even right now :

Because they never experienced it properly, i know many WoW player and i played WoW...
Every heroic fantasy game player dream about siege warfare, this is why for exemple LoTR : The Two Tower favorite part are the siege battle.
