Crypto has always been a rollercoaster, it’s just gotten worse with age, and the fact that it trades 24/7 doesn’t help either.    I randomly throw a few bucks here n there towards btc or eth just for the hell of it, but man, you really need to just set it and forget it.  Walk away for a few days and see what shakes

Pretty much. Luck of the draw is usually never in my favor. Somehow it worked out this time, game runs great (60+ fps consistently), looks great, and so far haven’t had any game breaking bugs.

Still works fine on my machine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just....gonna start posting this on every CP2077 entry.

You know, I played a lot of CoD during the (ongoing) quarantine, not only as a way to reach out and connect with the few friends I have, but as a nice escape during the evening hours, when I could find some time after work/kids/life.

Sure, just as soon as the average income rises to meet the average cost of living. That divergence is only growing larger and larger.

Having worked in the food industry as a young teenager, I grew pretty fond of the prepacked stuff, as that’s all your standard greasy spoons/diners use. Thin it out to an almost watery consistency to stretch it out and save a buck.

Hey, that’s an insult to small children everywhere.  I’ll have you know, both my girls take their steaks medium to medium-well.

Little late to the party, but honestly, if all they did was this,

Mannnn, I feel you on that. Same thing with my Dad, woke up in the middle of the night, violently ill. He never, ever got sick, let alone stomach issues like that. It was so bad he drove himself to the hospital, after a lot of back and forth, they opted for exploratory surgery. Pancreatic cancer, always a death

Yup, I keep a length of old chain link fence post next to my tools for just the occasion.  Never fails to break a nut free.......Usually with part of the bolt still in it.

I’m just starting my second play through, at about 96 hours in, according to steam so far. Been loving every minute. No game breaking bugs, only 2 hard crashes to desktop in that time. A couple of minor glitches when the game first launched that have apparently been fixed with the patches, as I’m not seeing them this

I know in the past you weren’t allowed facial hair if you were a firefighter, that’s changed in certain areas recently though.

Does your dog have a screen?

Intense cramps and epic diarrhea are mine.  The day I discovered ice cream was also the day I discovered I’m lactose intolerant.  Woohoo!

Most VR games up to this point have felt like small, bite sized pieces of a game. Whether intentional or not, they just never feel like a full sized game. HL:Alyx has completely changed my mindset on what a good VR game can be.  For VR, nothing feels clunky, the control scheme becomes second nature very quickly.

Agreed, only a couple hours in, but so far I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it.  Kinda dismissed it at first, but man I’m so glad that I gave it a go.

This was the one ride that I still remember riding, wayyyy back when I was a young’in.  I think I was around 7-8, we took the trip just a year or two before that ride closed.  I recall being a bit terrified, at the same time it was magical, being underwater.
