Ugh, it sure transports me alright. Back to when you’d be walking by the escalators on the second floor of our local mall, which just happened to be right over a Wetzel’s Pretzels shop, and the sickly smell of their “cheese” dipping sauce. Why they decided to go with the olfactory equivalent of “high school-hallway-vom

Lucked out with a japanese bakery that opened up early this year, within walking distance from my house. They started selling stock once this all went down, and it’s been a life saver. SAF red and King Arthur bread flour, jackpot!

Quick mock up of what it most likely will look like instead.

Ha! I used to own a DR650, and I’m 5'6". Finally go around to doing the “factory” lowering and then it was stolen :(

HA. That’s probably more effective than some of the janky, half-assed homemade masks I’ve been seeing people wearing around lately. Some are OK, but man, if I can see your nose, and your mouth from the sides of the mask, it’s not really doing anything.

Crisis averted, last trip it was back in stock.  Everything is gonna be OK.

Eh, could always use the overly green outer leaves as a substitue.

My wife always overbuys bananas. I think it’s from the early toddler years when our kids would consume their weight in bananas daily. So now I freeze ‘em, and make faux “ice cream”. There isn’t any specific recipe I use, but it’s pretty forgiving. My favorite has been a sort of snickerdoodle-ish variety. Bananas/Honey/

Dammit Allison. Damn youuuuuuuuuuu! Cabbage has been my secret Coronacolypse food. Pennies on the pound, lives forever, hack a wedge off and build a dish. Whatever else was horded away at the super market, from TP to bananas, I knew, knew I could count on good ‘ol reliable Green Cabbage. But not tonight.

I feel ya on the minivan, man. Picked up a 2014 Sienna last summer for the family hauler. We cart around our nieces/nephews 2+ times a week for the in laws, and needed something that could comfortably fit 2 adults and 5 kids.

You could re-name it Hardley Davidson.

That’s a damn fine seat right there.

Took me nearly 2 years to do that.  Finally found it, but man, it almost killed me.

Have you sat in the newer Siennas? Out of all the minivans listed here (which we test drove), the Sienna was ridiculously larger on the inside than any of the others. The rear seats also adjust.  My 6'5" brother-in-law took the backseat for a 2 hour drive and didn’t have any complaints.

3rd gen Saturn SC.

Spotted this Euro Focus ST out and about on Woodward Ave late one November evening. I believe it was just before the North American ST launch. Always thought this was the cooler looking car. Plus it had the turbo’d I5, which let’s face it, sounds so much better than the 4 banger they put in ours...

Sub 40?  It was in the teens this morning.

My pie crust game started to get better when I threw caution to the wind, said F it, and just made the damn dough already. Recipe from a 20 year old Betty Crocker book I bought back in the day, slightly modified. Full butter crust, ‘cause it’s usually the only kind of fat we have on hand, ice water, maybe some ice

I’m so lazy when it comes to pie crusts.  Butter is usually the only thing we have on hand when I get the itch to make a pie, so my crusts are full butter, ice water with some of the ice chips mixed into the dough to really cool it down.  I don’t even chill the dough before rolling it out.  Somehow it just always
