Still have my ‘05 VIII MR. Honestly one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Reliable, maintenance is sometimes cheaper than my Volvo, and it still manages to bring a smile to my face whenever I drive it.

I’m not the biggest anime fan around, usually when the mood strikes me I’ll binge a few shows, but this, this was awful. I barely made it through the first episode. Haven’t been back since.
I’m not black but I agree with you in it’s hilarity.
You mean you don’t just lick ‘em right after unwrapping?
Still AWD.
These work great for motorcycling when the weather gets colder.

Luckily, I haven’t had to do as many all-nighters lately as I did early on in my career, but I recall one time I was driving home around 4 AM. There was nobody else on the road, we had just wrapped up after working something like 18 hours straight, and this was after doing that for about a week.
Definitely in agreement with you here. Doesn’t make sense. We still have our ‘05 S40, when I drove it I put on a full turbo back exhaust system. Wasn’t cheap, but man, the sounds from that car are great. My wife drives it now and she loves it as well.
Yah, same style of shims for the Duc as well, which is why Ducati’s 6k recommend is laughable.
I’ll second that. Earlier this year my DR650 was stolen. Loved that bike, simple, fun to ride, built like a tank. Purchased a super low mileage 1997 M750 with the insurance money. Can’t stop riding it, some of the best fun I’ve ever had on two wheels. The only time the car comes out is when it’s raining.
Looked into a SV before I settled on a older M750. Sure, the required service interval for valve clearance check is longer, but getting to the valves on the suzuki is more time consuming, and difficult, compared to the Duc. Takes me about 30 minutes to check the valves on the monster, and from what I’ve seen, the 6k…
First time I had to do that was with my 1975 honda CB. Still have to with the battery in my 1997 monster. A buddy came over and saw me adding water to the battery, the look on his face was priceless.
You guys here the whole week? If so, you should bring it down to Woodward. It might suck weather-wise today, but the rest of the week is looking up. The weekends are still pretty packed with cars cruising around, trying to eek the last little bit of warmth out of Michigan before we gotta hibernate.
I’d argue that a mid 2000's grand caravan is better at hauling plywood than a truck. Take the seats out, load up with however many sheets of OSB you need, don’t have to worry about the wheel wells impeding said loading, and it’s covered.
Can always do what I do.
I’m sorry :(
As someone who worked in a bakery for 8 years or so, this makes me sad.
This is almost up there with the people that try and compare having pets to having children.
