Most of the people I know in the ad world, that have actual creative control over a project, have never gone to school for that type of work. Most of the time they majored in business or communication, and had a figure drawing class on the side....

We’ve worked on more of these than I can count (Post side of things, cutting/editing, clean up, effects, etc...). I’ve been involved in about 5 personally, but there’s plenty of it going around our building. Is it bad that I’ve had dreams(nightmares) of these?

My exercise? Had two kids.

Yah, we eat a lot of fruit and veggies in our house, but sometimes a good homemade green juice is hard to beat.

That’s usually what we do. Sometimes though, I get the urge to make my own, takes all of 10 minutes with a blender and a nut milk bag. It’s silky smooth juice, unpasteurized so the flavor is better, and at least my two young kids will drink it.... 

I do the blender method, with a bit of water to help things along. Then I take it one step further. Instead of the strainer (which lets some of the pulp through), I pour it all into a nut milk bag. Let it hang over a bowl for a bit, and then give it a good squeeze/wringing.

Man, sad I missed the original post asking these Q’s. I gotta say though, as good as doritos are on a tuna sandwich, even better is if you put ruffles chedder and sour cream chips on there. It’s like a tuna melt, but not hot, and you still get the terrific crunchy goodness.

I’ve been known to slather some sriracha on ‘em. My polish mother just rolls her eyes.

Full on polish grandmother and mother, so I grew up eating lots of polish food. Kraut, mushroom and potato/cheese are some of the best. Fried up in a ton of butter. Bonus points if you spoon some of your golompki sauce over ‘em with a big dollop of sour cream. So frickin good.

I’m a short guy. 5'6". I started on a 1974 honda cb125se, road it for awhile, mildly modified it with tracker style bars and a cafe seat. I can straddle it with both feet on the ground and my ass won’t touch the seat.

I’m a 3D/motion design guy, pretty much the same for us. Instead of longer periods of OT though, we usually work for 4-5 days straight (20-24 hours a day), sleep here through the project, and then we have a month or two with “normal” projects that don’t require that level of overtime. Unpaid of course.

I’m in the 3D/Motion design field. Short answer is YES. Unpaid overtime is the norm. It’s expected, hell, it’s even written into our contracts.
