It that the one where you need to “curve” the ball (last part of the puzzle) in order to reach the hole on the other side?

There are quite a number, but the one that annoyed people the most is the ball maze shrine, where you need to guide a ball through a maze using your right joycon’s gyroscope.

I went, “screw it” in Shatter the Heavens Shrine (because I couldn’t time the bomb detonation right), so I just fired a bomb arrow to get it over and done with.

I wonder if down this line, this game will go the way of Alpha Protocol: everyone hated it when it first came out, but after a long time, people eventually appreciated it. It has (sort of) the same problems too, such as the bad animations.

Huh, great minds think alike. That’s the first thing I thought of after reading the title.

Is that Combiner Wars Optimus in the video?

They definitely did not do so with a number of them (ex. the one with the constellations). Or at least they weren’t obvious; if they were, some of the people here (including myself) wouldn’t have encountered any sort of difficulty with a number of the shrines.

Yup, that’s the one.

It was actually reported in Kotaku so a few years ago (it was a medieval fantasy game where all characters were LGBT). But yeah, the fact that no one has heard about it since...

I’m glad they put clues to solving the puzzles in the title. There was this one shrine (the one with many fans pointing up) where I struggled to figure out what I needed to do at the last part, until I recalled the title.

And the frustrating part is, there are a ton of motion control shrines (through only one shrine comes close to the frustration experienced with the ball maze thing).

Didn’t someone try to kickstart a game before with an all LGBT cast?

It’s actually figuring out how to make him effective that’s part of the fun IMO. Unfortunately, I have yet to be proficient with him, apart from becoming a basic tank.

I was referring to the Hyrule Castle one.

On a side note, a certain (required) quest where you stealth your way in a certain location might be frustrating for non-gamers. Especially since revive items don’t work.

If you unlock all the memories, you would sort of understand why she’s a bit on the whiny side (specifically, the rightmost memory in the second row).

Personally, I prefer a new game+ sort of thing, but it’s understandable to it would be inappropriate for this game.

To be fair, if you’ve only played the 16-bit Zeldas, you will get that impression. It’s the newer ones that give her a bit more character.

Once I got my anti-Guardian gear, first thing I did was to go to Hyrule field and hunt Guardians to extinction. On horseback, for that sweet slowmo effect.

I remember watching a youtube video discussing parrying, and thought, “so maybe I can parry a Guardian’s laser? Nah, Nintendo’s not going to let us”. Then a few minutes later, said youtuber parried the laser.
