I for one also want this to be a hybrid. I would be thrilled if I can play any of Nintendo’s (and their second and exclusive third party) offerings on the go. Will especially nice to have a console-like experience during those idle hours in the office.

Boo, still no swimming trunks.

You must be really old, are you? :)

So is this a coop game ala Xcom boardgame, or a human team vs human team game (like LoL)?

In my country, there was a time where the replay music of televised college basketball games was FFVIII’s standard boss theme.

claymation? stopmotion? toys?

I’m open to how they implement a variety of weapons, but I’d like to see how they will special effects the heck out of the ones that are large AND/OR have two modes. Those weapons will be VERY unwieldy, even if they lighten the placeholders for those weapons.

Forgot one more thing:

Yes...on the NX (maybe)

Would like to see if big swords will be involved, and how they’ll approach them

Played 4.1. The Wing Diver is very mobile, and I had no problems moving around the map using her. The Ranger however, feels slow, despite me rolling around the map to move faster. It has even gone to a point that in some missions, I had to spend two to three minutes just looking for and going to that lone ant that

Really, the only thing I don’t like about the game is that most characters move quite slow (given the size of the maps). This is especially annoying when trying to “clean up”, and the remaining enemies are at the opposite side of the map.

At least cats only hate you on the Witcher; cats also hate me IRL (I probably smell too much like dog).

I sort of used the wrong terminology: I was referring to product endorsements, which players of other games seem to have. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s where a lot of players get huge (if not most) of their income.

It doesn’t help that it seems that one can’t get (big) sponsorship deals playing Smash.

They did explain that it was aimed at “hardcore gamers”, hence “pro”

Same. I am also a little tired of people insisting that people should only use FemShep (only if they’re serious; I chuckle at “FemShep is TrueShep” jokes though).

The possible issue that may arise is saturation/overexposure. The brand could suffer if: a) it appears too often in other mediums, causing people to get sick and tired of it, or b) Nintendo licenses it to companies that produce crap products.

Interesting to see whether Nintendo pimping bits of their franchise outside their platforms will work in the long run or not.

Don’t play League of Legends (no time to learn it + toxic community), but I love looking at the art.
