This is a dumb statement. The janitor at the school is driving a paid off old $3000 car. The principal of the school making $150k+ is leasing a BMW.

Leasing isn’t that different than buying. A lease is an agreement to pay about half of a vehicle in 3 years. The payments are only a little less than the same vehicle on a 6 year loan. (because most vehicles have a residual value over 50%). I bet if you compared a lease to an 84 month loan the payment is the same. And

Also, atleast in California, a ‘Previous Rental’ is supposed to be a branded title I believe. So is Previous Taxi. Makes me wonder one day when a massive lawsuit occurs over previous Uber vehicles not being disclosed.

Virtually every car is reliable til 150,000 miles. I usually buy my cars at 200k miles, atleast since year ~2000, and that’s when you really see a difference between the reliable and easy to fix vs the overly complicated and annoying.

Technically not every traded in car with a loan has negative equity. You can have $5k left to payoff on a car worth $20k, and simply want to get something new.

When the second amendment was written, no distinction was made between military level weapons and the one that citizens could have at home. I somehow doubt that they intended for their amendment to only be valid until guns got better.

Insurance is absolutely a money making business. You figure out what the cost of insuring each average customer for each average loss over a period of time, and then you add $$ to that number, as much as the market will allow, and you profit off that.

If you order anything interesting, or rare, or new, (usually all 3) the production schedule is often just as unknown and convoluted at the luxury brands. You’d think they could just build anything, but supplier issues and parts production issues are real. The odds of a huge manufacturer getting the fancy headlights,

Sound does bounce off things. I ride an R1 with a medium loud exhaust. I don’t even get any dirty looks ever. But if I blip the throttle while approaching an intersection, I can get the person at a stop sign to turn their head and look directly at me instead of pulling out.

I’ve been riding for 16 years on the street, and about 3 offroad. Never been down on the street. Down every 30 minutes offroad. I honestly don’t think Im going down on the street unless its just some act of god like someone suddenly pulls into my lane from cross traffic. I watch behind me at intersections, I watch to

For all the people going “how could he be so stupid!? why would anyone send dick pics over text!?” Has anyone considered that some people don’t really worry about their dick pic being released, and even enjoy some of the excitement/drama knowing they could be? Also, this is ignoring the fact that not all dick pics are

He’s saying that selling out 500 units won’t save the model from dwindling sales overall.

Does your husband drive one of the most lame appliance type vehicles in the world?

When in doubt, there is no doubt.

Get a dirt bike and ride simple single track. Will HELP with the balance and vertigo.

Musk didn’t invent anything. He did however manage the growth of several companies from small time startups to full fledged enterprises. Ya... terrible executive.

I once had a year when I was responsible for half the sales of an entire branch of a business. I was meeting with the owner and during discussions of this, he said “Ya, and that’s a huge problem.” It was a decent lesson that as much as business owners like having high performance people on their team, they know the

Name one innovative, or even impressive, thing apple has done since the death of Steve Jobs. Making money with an already crazy successful company can be done for a while, and is done by most companies during the same time frame.

I’m a career car salesperson that interviewed with Tesla corporate ~2011 and learned a lot about their process. It’s not that much different than regular car sales, except the customer doesn’t get to negotiate any discount. Also, if you check online, Tesla has the highest gross profit of any major manufacturer per

All this article and comments are proving is that the retail prices of most of these components from the manufacturers are insane, because they know the insurance companies will pay. And if they total it out and don’t, the industry gets to sell another car.
