You had to go there..., LOL

Good Times Van’s FTW.  There was a reason they were called good time vans.

If no vaccine is the hill they want to die on, Mass. doesn’t need them.  Good riddance.

Not likely as it would mean tearing every existing similar engine completely apart to get to the connecting rod bearings.  For the man hours required it would be cheaper to just do a straight engine swap with the same but new engine and monitor it.  Considering not everyone’s bearings have failed yet and some might

Sounds like the just replace the defective engine with the same kind of engine but put some software to try and detect if it is falling apart again.  Kick the bucket because they figure most people will just sell the car before they have problems again for the next driver who probably won’t get a new engine because

In the middle of a wheat field complete with burning mobile home, what could go wrong?  Seriously it does sound like he has done this before and managed to plan well ahead so good luck to him in his recovery.

Naw, he’s right. Just look at all the crap governor meals on wheels keeps pulling like basically threatening institutions with fines for wanting to enforce some basic mask rules in the middle of freaking pandemic, Gerrymandering, limiting voter rights, etc. He’s been sucking so hard on the ween of trump supports he’s

It’s shocking how much a factory battery weighs in a 911.  I removed my and installed a small lightweight battery you can find in aviation.  An Odyssey if I’m not mistaken (been a while), like 25lbs or something which was like less than half of the factory monster.  I just remember to keep it on a good tender when not

I’d take the weight hit for a bigger engine and wider tires. Maybe 1100-1200lb for 175HP.

The Porsche 928 came out in 1978 -79.  Can you imagine seeing this in 78? Even today it looks modern.

Meh Cayman and Boxter are uglier than the 911 to everyone except Cayman and Boxter owners.  A 911 will hold it’s value better than a Cayman or Boxter because at the end of the day it’s still a 911.

Well of course, how else will the aliens be able to track you when the mother ship arrives to annihilate all of humanity?

LOL, likewise I”m sure.

Is charm a euphemism for ugly now?

For that price I would be heading in the direction of Stuttgart and a Porsche of that era.  No Dice.

Cool little car indeed but the price not so much. It may be rare in the states but in Japan it could probably be had for a bottle of Sake and good romp in the Kimono for a night.

Just a guess but judging by the age, this is likely just dementia or alzheimers. When they get to certain point they just live on instinct and basic needs, like get home. She was just getting home as she believed it to be. It is mostly just sad.

Rob you have my deeeeepest sympathies and get back up to full tilt as soon as you can.  You are one of the few reasons I stick around the blogs most of the time.  Also stay away from convenient store and gas station shrimp anything.

This gives a whole new meaning to the word “cat burgler”.   Meeeeow

I’m glad to hear this not because of the amazing range although that is an important factor but because of competition.  Tesla will have to up it’s game as well as other EV makers to compete.  We all win with this eventually.
