Meh, overrated.

The Niva is the exception to the rule.  I’m talking about the Ladas that look like old Fiats.

A friend of mine who things Lada’s are cool and thinks of getting one, I remind him of things like this.  Even Russians would look at you funny for wanting a Lada.

So God saved him.  Did he also tell him to jump off a bridge?

I love the look of this car but the price is not so good. ND. Also, my latin is rusty but isn’t prima facie first impression and prima ejemplo for example or prime example which to me would make more sense but whichever.

As a Porsche enthusiast I have to say I’m disappointed.  This design removes the classic rounded fender Porsche look for huge intakes everywhere that would be nothing but mud, dirt and rock magnets in a real off-road situation.  You protect your mechanicals in an off road rally not open them up to the elements.

Not as easy as on a Porsche. Insert light mechanism key, turn key and whole light assembly slides out off plug. Reverse to install.

All I could think was..., is that the Backstreet Boys???

Compared to the Maverick it looks more youthful in design.  I would imagine the youths would gravitate toward the Hyundai and the olds toward the Maverick.

I don’t really take issue with the Mach-E cooling hydra complexity as much as the use of of those crappy as clamps.  Really?

I traded my 2001 Carrera 4 during he pandemic for a sweet low mileage 08 Carrera 2S with chrono 6spd, coupe. I paid 34K and with trade in ended up with 19K loan. I did a look up for com parables and an 08 2S with similar miles and specs are now in the 48 to 55K range now, WOW!

Perhaps I’m getting ahead of things but what would the price range be?

So the roof popped off, the air bag fell out, caused a short and the whole thing burned to the ground. 

Love the car. The original video quality of the commercial was probably better than anything today as film technology was at it’s peak but has since been resized and the piss compressed out of it by user and youtube auto algorithms that like to compress the piss out of everything.

Here here! You know at one time the Cayenne was being designed in that direction with the early versions even being basically test mules in the Transyberian Rally. Amazing machines but they gave in to the whole BMW mentality and toned or dumbed them down to mall crawler levels with fastback coupe editions and such.…

As an owner of the big engined behemoth Cayennes I think they are great but this is just not what Cayennes are for. A Macan, Panamera maybe but very questionable. Cayenne is not a track beast or shouldn’t be. It’s a fast solid utility vehicle. Anything else is just cray cray in my book but I love those wheels.
