Nope, the joke’s too easy
Nope, the joke’s too easy
That’s fair but your discord conversation isn’t going to help me when I’m searching around with a quick question. Search engines are at least not yet, digging through all of the servers. If everyone doing searches had to join servers and just ask 1 question it could be overwhelming, totally irritating to both side,…
If the community is toxic the discord will be too, no different to the forums. The only diff is that with official forums, actual useful info comes up in a google search (once you get past all the crappy gaming sites putting up junk pages to try and SEO a click out of you to serve you a thousand ads). Same for Reddit.
It is obvious that Strange went for the one timeline where the only person on Titan that would die was the one who annoyed him earlier in the movie by being the exact same character type right down to the elaborate facial hair.
Strange saw all possibilities. You have to go with the narrative logic that if Strange had forewarned Quill or anyone else, it would not have worked out and blown the one shot. Or if had used the time stone trick like he did on Dormammu, Thanos would have been able to get out of it using the other stones.
Pretty typical prognostication trope, to me. In general, you either have the Oracle of Delphi, who’ll laugh at any fucker trying to outwit fate. Or else you have the Butterfly Effect, where trying to warn someone ahead of time just makes things worse. Strange even tells Tony this in Endgame, when he says that if he…
That’s obviously not the interpretation we’re talking about here. We’re talking about streaming the entire game so that you can play it remotely without downloading or installing anything locally. Otherwise known as cloud gaming.
The vast majority of mobile revenue comes from MTX and King’s games are all F2P. A subscription-based model would create a barrier to entry and that’s basically a death sentence for mobile games. Candy Crush is the only King IP that has any value and putting that behind a subscription wall would be really, really stupi…
See, you are kind of missing the point about what the article is about. Cloud gaming, right now, doesn’t rely on content. Nobody is saying, “I would move to cloud gaming if only [insert game] was available.” It relies on tech. And nothing about stopping this merger changes the fact that MS has a bajillion dollars and…
Why would people stream a mobile game..? They can already play Candy Crush on their phones and tablets. It’s not a demanding game so there’s no reason to stream it instead of just downloading and playing it on your actual device.
Okay, to be clear: the Call of Duty narrative was pushed by regulators and Sony’s own testimony. That was not introduced by Microsoft based on any of the documentation I’ve seen.
Not only does the market not really exist yet, but SONY OWNS HAVE THE PATENTS IN THE FUCKING SPACE thanks to 2012 Gaikai purchase.
And moments later, someone makes my own point for me! Healthcare workers have the capacity to be the most generalizing, judgy people in the world who are incapable of seeing their patients as people.
With due respect, this is an overly generalized and not-connected-to-the-bigger-point statement, I think.
That exact line you quote also states that *lower* BMI was associated with increased mortality risk, so it's a bit of an oversimplification to say "bigger means you die faster."
Disclaimer: I’m staying the heck out of the core topic, because it’s silly to niggle over how a game dev that was famous for management playing LITERAL GRAB-ASS in the office might have misguided notions of body image. Let’s stop pretending that Overwatch is somehow some progressive tentpole, because that’s just…
“Those things... are very much connected. More food makes you bigger. Bigger people die faster.”
“Do you remember that song, All you need is love? Is that really true?”
Just to *mildly* push back, this is highly dependent on the matchmaker friend. I have had personal experience with both dating apps and friends who try to set me up and while neither were successful, at least the dating apps were 100% under my control. I've never had a dating app try to shame me for swiping right or…
This is why the incel community will never start a movement and bring about change.
