Awesome. Thanks!
Awesome. Thanks!
Yes. It was a typo. Thanks for notifying me.
Yeah. It’s just plain boring. There is barely any camp or humor in general and the plot is very dry. My wife and I both found it to be slow and tedious and I’m absolutely baffled by the people who somehow think it’s a fun romp.
House of Gucci was awful, but I liked Spencer for the most part. Fell apart for me at the end, but it was very good up to that point.
Is this an MCU stan parody account?
Also he totally missed that both of them have the same last name. Big whiff.
We’re All Going to the World’s Fair
For me, 2020 has been deep so far, but thin up top. I’ve only given two films my top rating so far. Though I still have Licorice Pizza and a few other big ones to see, so fingers crossed.
I saw Nomadland in 2020 and I am not a critic. But don’t let that stop you from counting films however you want. Power to the people, etc.
Ohh... Still not sure how we got from Spencer to Dune, but okay. Haha
Wait... You haven’t seen the film we’ve been discussing?
Yeah. Marvel was forced to sell off the rights to their most popular characters when the comic book industry tanked and Sony took full advantage of their desperation. Sony reportedly only paid $7 million, meaning they’ve already gotten way more than their money’s worth. The idea that they’d be a sympathetic victim if…
I actually liked the scene despite it breaking my immersion. My real issue was with the end of the film. Felt like a different movie.
Which is obviously part of a long term ploy by Disney to steadily erode Sony’s hold on the rights until such a time that they can fully obtain the property and thus further indulge their monopolistic desires?
The one moment that broke my immersion was the dancing scene. At that point, I felt like I was watching Kristen Stewart rather than Diana Spencer. Otherwise, I agree.
None of the Spider-Man films are on Disney+ in the US. Rights issues with Sony I assume.
Why does Amazon not do a list of the movies leaving anymore? Criterion Channel and Hulu both build it right into the UI, but I never have any idea when movies are leaving Amazon and I usually miss them as a result. I don’t get their reasoning. Do they not want me watching things on their service?
It was reported everywhere that Yelena was going to be in Hawkeye and anyone who saw Black Widow knew it even if they hadn’t read the reports. There’s no real way to talk about this subject without spoiling her appearance in the title and image.
Jason Alexander!
