That’s exactly the problem. It’s a false dichotomy to “stand with cis gendered women” as if trans women are harming them in any way.
I thought Sarah Michelle Gellar looked pretty unrecognizable too, honestly.
Paul Kinsey is a character from Mad Men. You should watch it. I can guarantee that it’s better than Far Cry 6.
I’m confused as to why you’re replying to me as if I wrote this review of a game I haven’t played. I am not nor have I ever been William Hughes. LOL
At least that’s a step in the right direction of they call a trans woman a girl.
Well, everyone knows WandaVision died in the final episode. What this book presupposes is... maybe it didn’t?
The constant negative slamming of EVERY AAA titles these days, from the majority of outlets it seems
I think they are art, but the art is not in storytelling and it still seems strange to me that the “inconsistent tone” is what would ruin your enjoyment of a shooter.
The fourth Far Cry game is not just a killing simulator. It tries to make a commentary on colonialism and certainly wants you to be emotionally invested in the story and characters. The fact that it’s a pretend country doesn’t make it not political.
but it seems weird to me to review a game mostly based on that
Have you played a Far Cry game? I haven’t played the whole series, but I played the last two and both of them were trying to make political statements. They just weren’t doing a very good job at it.
Because they don’t reflexively gush over every AAA game like most outlets?

That’s really splitting hairs. Yes, if a publication you’re writing for/submitting to specifically tells you to put two spaces after a period for some weird reason, then you should do that. But as you yourself said, people should be defaulting to one space in all other situations.
It’s not just a design issue. Both the Chicago Manual of Style and the Modern Language association mandate one space after a period. It’s been the predominant grammar rule since the 1960s. No one is going to throw you in the grammar gulag if you use two spaces, but it’s not grammatically correct to do so.
More dragons means a bigger CGI budget, right? Gotta cut costs somewhere.
Namely, that the creators seemed to have lost interest themselves.
Nah... Your teacher was just out of touch. One space after a period had already been the rule for a long time by the mid-90s. It’s not a hipster thing at all.
Using a double space is actually wrong though. There are set, agreed upon grammar rules and using two spaces goes against those. You might as well be arguing that “children” and “childs” are equally correct. I’m not a prescriptivist, so you can do whatever you want in your personal life, but in professional documents,…
