Dude... You are putting way too much work into this pointless pedantry. Who gives a shit whether people are literally afraid of fat people or not? We all understand what the term means when we hear it.

Is that Bean Dad or am I mixing up two different “scandals”?
It’s very effective at getting people to hate themselves, but hating yourself doesn’t generally lead to positive change. Not that you can’t be healthy at a higher weight than society tells us is attractive.
Would suck for entire production to have to work around his schedule though.
Can he? I know they film a lot of Jeopardy episodes in quick succession, but being the quarterback of an NFL team is a pretty demanding job.
Doesn’t Rodgers have a day job?
I think it’s gotten worse recently. Maybe due to the pandemic and more people doing their regular shopping there. I noticed the same thing recently when trying to buy some mints. The unit price was way worse than what I could get at CVS despite being a larger pack.
Congratulations, you found a shitty price on Amazon. Walmart sells it for $.97/ounce.
They’re not talking about buying in bulk though. They’re talking about selling tiny quantities of something in a speciality pack made just for these stores rather than the standard size sold in Walmart, Target, grocery stores, and drug stores. There’s a difference in losing out on money because you’re not buying an…
Emmy bait. I’m pretty sure it’s a miniseries.
Watched season one a few months ago and I’m glad I did. The Call Me By Your Name moment was one of my favorite sitcom gags in a long time.
Yeah. I saw that Black Mirror episode, but I honestly forgot she was in it. Never saw Thunder Force, for obvious reasons. I’m not saying that she hasn’t been in anything else at all. Just that most people only know her from the MCU.
Yeah. I think it might have been rephrased as well. Though I’m not positive. The tone I got from the article initially was that the author wasn’t happy about all the white men in the cast. As I said, it may prove to be problematic if the indigenous people are used more as props than actual characters, but that remains…
I’m still unable to ungrey comments. Sorry, Whiskeyprayer.
Yeah. It looks like it was, actually. The subheadline originally said something about him being another white man added to the cast. There’s still this, which survived:
Bothered in what sense? I’m not personally aggrieved, but I don’t think it’s very good writing or reporting. At best, it’s confusing and at worst it’s a lazy attempt to inject a misplaced grievance into an article where it’s not needed.
I’m confused. Why are you snarking about there being another white man in the cast just before pointing out that there are several indigenous people in the cast too? It’s certainly possible that those actors will get barely any screen time and the story will be centered entirely on the white cast members, but…
I imagine she’d be recognized more if she’d had other high-profile roles, but most of us have only seen her looking like this:
Until there’s a hurricane and both your cars get flooded at the same time. 😭
You can be inspired by whatever you want, but if you’re going to start throwing the name of a living person around when promoting your film, you should probably make sure you get that person’s story right and don’t change the details to make them guilty for something that they didn’t do.
