I get that a lot of bands have touring members that aren’t official, but it’s disconcerting to hear three guitars and only see one.

I was raised in a Conservative Christian home, so it took me a long time to fully break free from that mindset. I’m still not a full-on leftist, but as I’ve grown more empathetic with age and learned more about the world, I’ve shifted further and further in that direction.

Super anecdotal, but a lot of my friends are getting more liberal as they age, so hopefully the tide will turn. Bush, McConnell, and Trump have made it really difficult for an intelligent, empathetic person not to move further to the left.

I know Corey Hawkins isn’t Latino, but it seems dishonest to choose cast photos that don’t include him and act like he wasn’t in the movie and the filmmakers refused to cast anyone black at all.

I agree with you that the whole article should have been rewritten, but at least we were able to get them to make some small changes.

You already did use the word incumbent. That's why I used it in response. But it sounds like we're mostly in agreement. If people weren't framing the issue dishonestly and blowing it way out of proportion, we could all say, "Eww... That's kind of gross. Hope she's not still involved with anything like that." and move…

It's absolutely something to apologize for. That's my point. This is way lower on the priority scale.
