Obama did separate children from their parents. He just did it at a much smaller scale because Trump put an asinine “zero tolerance policy” in place designed to detain more people and detain them longer.

The fact that Fox would blow it up into a huge thing if it were a liberal president is exactly why the rest of the media shouldn’t do it with Trump.

Ehh... I don’t really think it paints her in a bad light. She’s actually saying that decorating seems trivial in light of all the more important issues the administration is facing. And the “liberal media” attacks are red meat for Trump’s base. I can’t see any Trump loyalist actually being upset by this at all.
