Yeah. I had the same thought about the white. White plastic gets discolored over time.

Probably going easy on him because he’s a kid still. Which is understandable.

My first response when I saw this was that it would be a good and decent thing for any or all of them to say in a written statement on Twitter or Instagram or something, but dramatically reading it in black and white with background music is incredibly off-putting.

I’m not arguing that Rowling thinks it’s a possibility that parents might think it. I’m arguing that Rowling thinks it’s a legitimate thing that happens in the world. Otherwise, she would include a caveat saying “while I don’t think this mother was correct in thinking that her child transitioned for that reason...”

Yeah. That’s really interesting. Though I don’t think the woman Rowling references was Iranian.

Right... I’m sure she brought up that poor “TERF-labeled” woman because she doesn’t agree with her that it’s a realistic possibility.

Looks like he did. Though I’m sure that he’ll tell you that he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body and has many black friends.

My favorite part is when she says that homosexuals are labeling themselves as trans to escape homophobia. Because being trans is so much more acceptable than being gay, right? How do you actually type that in a blog post and not realize how ridiculous that sounds?

Who else is here because the Daily Stormer Podcast episode about Bruno Mars?”

“This song is awesome. I used to listen to it on the school bus.”

The World Wide Web never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah. What the hell? Why change a character to be less distinctive?

They already had Space China, Space Jamaica, and Space England, so why not?

Gotta have that off-putting third act swerve into drama that occurs long after the film’s actual climax. What would an Apatow film be without that?

I still don’t get what people see in Pete Davidson. But I’ve admittedly seen very little of his work. Does anyone have a sketch or stand-up clip of his that they’ve seen and found funny that they could recommend?

What the fuck are “white situations”? Going to see Poison? Driving into a gated community without being stopped by the police? I get that the black experience in this country is different than the white experience in a lot of ways. But black people are not aliens and not every movie with a black actor in it has to

But that’s the point, isn’t it? We need stories that are specific to the black experience like Black Panther told, but there’s also no reason to refrain from casting black actors in stories that aren’t specific to one race or the other.

What? Since when is Spider-Man an incel? Not only are you being reductive, but also completely inaccurate. Spider-Man fucks.

I don’t think there are less wrong reasons when it comes to supporting slavery. And Lee himself was a slaveholder.

I like that idea, but as someone who’s visited Richmond, they really do beautify that part of town if you ignore who’s depicted and what they stand for, which no one should of course. I’d like to see them replaced with monuments to civil rights pioneers or other positive landmarks.
