Yeah. That’s what’s frustrating. As I mentioned in other comments, I appreciate that you can play that way, but why make me get to a certain level first. It’s dumb.

Those 3.5 million votes came from wherever you choose to draw them from. People all over the country voted for Clinton. Even the basic premise that the “extra” votes came from California is idiotic.
There isn’t a 1% chance anyone whose feathers were ruffled over this had any intention of playing this game.
I enjoy a good skill tree, but don’t make it impossible for me to play with the playstyle I prefer, the one that every other game in the series has favored, until I unlock a certain number of skills. Since I don’t have to unlock any particular skills to engage and win in open combat, the game is showing favoritism…
I appreciate that he’s clearly reading the lyrics. It’s a quarantine. Who can be bothered to memorize things?
Ezio kept his ring finger. He managed to modify the blade so the ring finger getting cut off wasn’t necessary. I haven’t played all the games in the series, but the only ones where I remember the ring finger being removed were the original and Origins.
I guess I must not be there yet. I just started a playthrough this weekend and I’m having a rough go of it. Not only can I not stealth kill captains, but the enemies in general seem to notice me way easier than in the previous games and the eagle tagging sucks so far.
It’s still there in Origins. They just limit it so you can only stealth kill enemies that are close to your level. Otherwise, it still hurts a lot but doesn’t kill them. It’s not in Odyssey at all.
I just started playing and I was so annoying last night when I tried to assassinate a level 6 captain as a level 6 and he didn’t die. I didn’t mind how it worked in Origins where you could only one-hit kill enemies that were close to your same level, but I’m not down for the Odyssey method. At least not so far.
I had to show my wife, who’s younger than me, the opening of that show on YouTube after the episode ended. And then the opening of Dinosaucers just because.
I’ll grant you that it wasn’t a great year for Best Picture nominees, but I like The Descendents, Tree of Life, Moneyball, and Hugo quite a bit more than The Artist. And you know what, The Help wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Midnight in Paris, War Horse, and especially Extremely Loud and…
It depends on the part of the songs they play though. My first time through, it seems like most of the clips they used were the outro. I told them I don’t know “Sexual Healing” and of course I know “Sexual Healing,” but I didn’t recognize the section they played because I’ve never listened it all the way through I…
Yeah. According to what I’ve read from the Surgeon General himself, the other piece of that calculus was that they made the recommendation not to wear masks before they knew that asymptomatic people could spread the virus. But it was a pretty big miscalculation regardless and a lack of information only partially…
Yeah. I get being skeptical towards someone who claims that they’ve had a change of heart on an issue just in time for an election. But you can’t expect everyone to have been woke from birth. What’s the point in evangelizing for causes you care about if you’ll never trust the people who come around to your way of…
That’s true. The messaging has been mixed and that’s not great. Though in many cases, such as this one, it’s because they simply didn’t have enough information about a new virus that hasn’t been studied. It would have been basically impossible to get everything right immediately.
Yeah. People do the same thing with politicians. “This person supported a different position 30 years ago, so even though they agree with me now, I can’t vote for them.”
Of course it is.
Yes. I wasn’t intending to disagree with you. Though I guess starting a post with “But on the other hand” makes it sound that way. We’re both saying that it’s no big deal. I’m just furthering your “Forget it, Jake. It’s Ubisoft.” with a “No one should care regardless of who the company is.” It’s a minor disappointment…
Yep. I’m seeing posts on Facebook from people saying “The Surgeon General said not to wear masks and now they’re saying to wear them!” Yeah. When new information comes to light, people change their viewpoints in response. Crazy how that works.
I’m so tired of all of these left-wing extremists pushing the narrative that good, harmless people dying is bad and the people who cause their deaths through either action or inaction are bad for doing so. Can’t you see that wanting a just world where evil people suffer for their evil deeds makes you just as evil?
