I thought it was pretty solid. I like where they’re going with Black Siren. However, I still feel no sympathy for Rene, Dinah, and Curtis. Oliver has been doing this for a while, so listen to him! They are coming off so petty! Crazy to think I loved Dinah and Rene just a few episodes ago!

Christ Almighty, I have had more than my fill of Team Other Team constantly bitching and have hurt looks any time they are around Team Arrow. Rene is probably the worst. I have really liked the character, but not only did his hotheaded actions actually have consequences he should have learned from, HES THE ONE WHO

- Is the show trying its damndest to make New Team Arrow unlikable? Because it’s doing a pretty good job. Rene, especially, has gotten really, really annoying the past few episodes. I used to like him, too.

Yeah, Edge seemed genuinely confused at the accusation, and when he admitted to it later it seemed like he was just ready to say anything Lena wanted to save his life.

I’m not 100% certain Edge really did try to have her poisoned.

Honestly, even when Edge gave the confession, it still didn’t ring true to me—I kept getting the vibe from the episode that a different suspect would be revealed because Edge seemed to genuinely deny having anything to do with the poisoning and he was heavily pressured into confessing. But maybe this is all mostly

Pike did die heroically anyway, correctly assessing the situation and grabbing the guy who electrocuted all of them in an attempt to save them.

Excellent review. I agree this episode was a bit messy in some points (NTA just seems too whiny, the villains’ plan seems convoluted and the FBI/some federal government not intervening is baffling) but EBR killed it and that montage was perfection.

I have no idea where they are heading with this entire Dig and Oliver

Oliver viciously stabbing a dude right at the end of Felicity’s ‘Oliver is good guy’ speech is the kind of black comedy I live for.

Iris has been a useless character since last season and I don’t get why they made her the team leader. She has zero useful skills and contributions to Team Flash! She is merely Barry’s wife and nothing else.

Barry in prison is actually a Barry I like. He’s having to exercise patience and a bit of foresight.

I am a teacher (High school math, formerly English and History), and I cannot find this amusing. I remember being 9 and getting mad when a teacher was wrong. Germany isn’t landlocked Mrs. Hampton!

In reading this, I am reminded of the words of Miles O’Brien:

Tonight we saw a very different side of May’s pragmatism. She understands their only hope is to repeat the timeline and keep trying again once their past selves are forced to the future. This is why she’s the only person in the past who seems to be willing to tolerate and care for Robin, the others are too emotionally

An alternate timeline where they weren’t blasted into the future but Daisy broke the world anyway? This wasn’t made clear....

...And then cancel the spinoff. Team Arrow newbies are terrible. Constantly demanding trust, and constantly failing to earn it.

So I really didn’t like this episode at all. I hope to almighty Cuthulu that the audio file Curtis and Rene inexplicably decided not to listen to doesn’t end up being a thing cos man it pisssed me off that they didn’t play it. Also if the new part of the team have the self awareness to say ‘ we’re aware of our

“Hey, there’s an audio clip here in your file. Should we listen to it?”

I completely agree. I don’t understand what leg this Non-Arrow team is standing on since 2/3rds of them were being secretive and betraying the team. They expect trust when they’ve been with Team Arrow for what, a year? And in that time, they already lost one Canary. I hope they fail miserably.

This episode was just meh, and the only thing that could have saved it is if Curtis, after saying “Cayden James did not sow this distrust!” followed it up with “Oh, wait, that’s exactly what he did and it’s so obvious now he was trying to break up Team Arrow, so let’s get back together now.” They laid all the tracks
