Investment crowdfunding like this is somehow even sketchier than kickstarter. There should clearly be some rules around requiring certain financial disclosures in marketing, not just in SEC filings.

I enjoyed it running through the quests and hung around the arena mode/raid area bit, but it just doesn’t work that well as an MMO. I hope they go back to making single player elder scrolls again.

I had the same reaction as you did to the robot race when I found Cait and then realized I had to kill all of the raiders instead of being able to participate.

185 pounds? on what earth...

“In the book, as in America today,”

It’s the reverse that gets me though. I understand these shows not necessarily referencing larger events, but it’s harder for me to believe that a guy with powers like Kilgrave wouldn’t be on the radar of the avengers or shield or somebody.

We’ll see where this goes, but at this point, I feel like Daredevil and Jessica Jones are in their own separate universe. I know they’re not, but I don’t feel like the stories actually work otherwise, unless they can wrap it up nicely with the next few shows.

Is there any case law on this? I’m sure it’s legal, but I’d just love to see how it’s being justified. Even charging prisoners who can afford it seems absurd.

Does that explain why it only dropped in half on PC though?

Wait, is that illegal? Tons of places do that shit.

“We gave a discount...we understand this offended an individual employee” Nice apology guys

if this is true and all the companies are calling it a unique genre, i can’t really blame Blizzard too much. “Heroes of the Storm is inspired by the original Defence of the Ancients: All-Stars modification for WarCraft III. The original mod went on to kickstart the genre that Dota 2 developer Valve now calls MOBA

Agreed. I do like this game, but it very much feels like fallout 3 and I just don’t get what they spent all this time on.

I’m glad you wrote this, because it is stunningly and almost unacceptably bad. I can’t even deal with the settlement system, inventory management is enough work.

they’re right about pejic at least

Yeah but Heinlein’s politics certainly seemed to lead that direction, when he wasn’t just being pervy

Thanks, that makes sense. Article just said one of 4 creators

i was all on board until i got to the part about protecting just 4 creators. I get that they can’t defend everyone, but this just feels silly.

I’ve got no sympathy for this guy given that he got 3 DUIs, but really showcases the unequal punishment given.

The claim is probably true that they are unreasonably similar, but i also wonder how many people even pick car air fresheners based on brand
