yeah, it’s a cheap pr/regulatory move that costs less than fixing the problem would, which would ruin their business model
So does nevada banning them have any concrete impact on their operations?
appreciate all of deadspin’s reporting on this
“But more overtly, a structure like this would force games to stop relying so much on twists and spoilers”
In fairness, this might say almost as much about poor reading comprehension as it does about the NYC rental market
i’m beyond impress you didn’t call 911 or go to the ER after pissing blood. I would have been freaking out, marathon or nto
Is this sort of thing usually outsourced? i can’t even imagine the amount of tickets steam generates, and i get valve not wanting to hire hundreds of people for this, but there has to be a way to deal with it.

Also why does a fun spaceship game need an FPS attached? This seems wildly unnecessary. That’s essentially a totally new game.
Investors bring accountability and deadlines. Crowdsourced games don’t and this is a serious problem. Everyone hates when a game ships with bugs because some producer didn’t want to miss their deadline, but the opposite isn’t much better, especially if the end result turns out to be a disappointment.

Right? Also cant you just mandate parking lots be well-lit?
And this is why I no longer play Destiny. It’s just such an odd design decision.
Do most sports trade people during the middle of games? Just seems odd
