I am cautiously optimistic that this may actually be a worthwhile remake.

Is that a good thing? Can't wait to see why.

I'm on episode 9 or so.

I agree, Moonlight is the best I've seen out of the bunch, and I've seen a majority of the films nominated.

It's really not

Maher did soft-peddle him a bit, but I think it was instructive and helpful to just sit back and let Hippopotamus, the Hitler-youth Justin Bieber that he is, spout off and sink himself.

It was "Up The Beach" from the same album by Jane's.

I'm one of the few that find Carnival Of Light and Tarantula to be as listenable and enjoyable as their early stuff. Good albums.

My comment after Mauve slashed Sylvester was "why do they keep leaving the scalpels and other sharp weapons lying around next to the malevolent robot?"

She was pretty great opposite Oscar Issak in A Most Violent Year. Check her out in that.

I just listened to it for the first time in years recently—I found it slightly terrible saved only a bit by Clapton's intermittent guitar flashes.

All the Floyd principle member solo-stuff I've heard, much like the solo Beatles, I find pretty hard to listen to.

Forgot I'd already heard a bootleg of this years ago.

Got to work with Harper about 10 years ago when I was an assistant engineer at a recording studio. She makes albums too. I had literally just seen Suspiria and was geeking out on Argento and we discussed the film a bit. Very cool lady.

I'd say the 1982 The Thing gets the suspense AND the horror across just fine.
Great film.

I always admired this soundtrack, which I gotten into several years after the film had been out—still own the used CD version of it I bought. I loved the Jane's Addiction / Diamanda Galas / Mallory Ross interpolation. Reznor was really on a roll in this era.

I was already intrigued by NIN at the time (the video for "Wish" was getting aired a lot), but when I saw the video for "March Of The Pigs", I was blown away and bought The Downward Spiral the day it came out. It's still my favorite NIN album.

I thought this season was best at some of the "smaller" moments:

Was anyone else extremely underwhelmed by the reveal by Dom that Romero had caught a stray bullet from a neighbor's gun?

I got major "Blade Runner" vibes through that whole scene.
