I thought to myself as Darlene tossed the VHS tape aside of her first pass on the fsociety recording, "ah, that's going to come into play later". But I assume they purged all traces of themselves from the house.

I noted the "Darlene behind bars while riding the subway" thing as well.
Lee and Gamby riding around trading insults on the forklifts was pretty funny.
Yeah, I thought it was a fantasy sequence too, until it was shown that it couldn't be.
Maybe he and Andrea were involved in more than a professional capacity. Maybe she scorned him.
Good to see Stone still getting some pussy of some kind.
Yeah, Bowie was working on music for the soundtrack at the time—I think "Subterraneans" was one of the pieces. Then he found out Roeg had no intention of using his music.
It's overlong and even more elliptical than some of the other Roeg films I've seen. I would by no means call it a "good" movie. But it is worth seeing as a time capsule for Bowie.
Unbelievably, people are still bitching about and dissecting this movie.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, re: Stone confronting of Duane (and worse than Stone just getting his ass kicked, he could get himself killed for his trouble).
I wonder if it was because Failure never really rose out of their local-scene prominence, which was LA. They never even got to properly tour to promote Fantastic Planet, as the band imploded.
That was such a weird time for the music I liked in a way—and I was just starting to get into some of those electronic acts you listed, albeit a few years after that.
That's a shame to hear. I like Wilson's solo stuff a good bit, but I thought PT's "The Incident" album was really one of their best. Looks like it'll be their last unfortunately.
Funny enough, I became generally old enough for concert going and Lolla '96 was my very first show. Psychotica was ear-shreddingly horrible. I was excited to see Soundgarden and they were good. My friend and I walked around when Metallica went on.
Great, great episode. The scene of Naz shaving his own head was silently devastating. The end scene of Stone chasing the guy through the abandoned building was really tense. Next episode looks like it will be a good one too.
Domineau nailed it—I read the whole thing, pretty good stuff.
Caught Helmet for the first time at a benefit out here in the SF Valley a couple years ago. They played a short set, but Hamilton hung out in the bar afterwards and was chatting with fans. He seems like a super cool guy.
I loved Natural Born Killers soundtrack, and similarly the Lost Highway OST.
The Prodigy / Rage Against The Machine mashup on Spawn (though it could've just been Tom Morello riffing away) was great to blast out of my friend's Dodge Daytona at lunch time in High School.
Quite undoubtedly, The Crow is my favorite soundtrack album of all time.
