I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Sportster fan and currently own a 1980 as well as a 1972 Aermacchi but I also own a pair of KTMs and a pair of Hondas, and so I can appreciate what HD brings to the marketplace while also seeing objectively what has been so wrong with their marketing and business model for the last 15 years or

General pro Harley-Davidson comment here. I’ve done more miles on two wheels than I can count. A fair number of those miles were atop a Harley-Davidson Fatboy, a 2003 to be precise. I’d owned many two wheelers before, and some after. However, nothing provided the same level of joy that H-D gave to me. Sure, I was in

are people really rooting for Harley to fail? Jesus, we are far too polarized. if you’re rooting for Harley to fail, go for a walk and consider smiling once in a while.

I don’t think people WANTED Harley-Davidson to fail, so much as they were reading the writing on the walls. Harley needed to re-invent themselves to appeal to more than just their aging (boomer) customer base. That being said, I think they’ve been doing a fantastic job at getting their products into the 21st century,

No. There is almost no reason to watch movies in theaters anymore

Though my home theater system is almost as good as a theater, there is still something special about watching a blockbuster on the big screen. With that being said, since I have never missed F&F movie, I will probably go see this in the theater even though it looks so incredibly over the top stupid and probably the

ummm and because they’re awesome.

I’ve got two main complaints:

Yeah, people say that British “cuisine” is bad, but it’s got nothing on what Skandies, as a group, do for dinner. They dislike any kind of spice, to them garlic tastes like battery acid and mayo is a gift from heaven.

Yeah, this is bad, no doubt, but have you seen what Scandinavians consider “food”?

Well, they don’t like them, anymore.

I used to work for a GMC dealer owned by the same guy who owns HB Dodge. He kept all those demons in the back warehouse at the GMC lot. They were always under covers, and up on jacks and I walked past them every day always wondering what they were for. I figured they were for investments, and I guess I wasn’t wrong!

No. The only requirements are to stay away from the red marked areas. Also, engineers are supposed to wear high visibility jackets since we move around so much. Otherwise, just wear whatever is comfy that allows you to walk/stand all day.

I work as an automotive engineer. You just hit the nail on the head.

It’s one of those things that always gets overlooked, but holy shit does it look hard to build a car. From design to manufacturing, everything is complicated. Like, some dude (more likely a team) had to design, test, and build a machine to deliver a seat at exactly there right time to exactly the right place, and it

“For centuries darker-skinned Afro-Latinx people have been erased from Latinidad, but we will be forgotten no more. We are tired of being maids and background dancers and will continue to push back until we are seen and heard. Indeed, Lin Manuel Miranda ‘fell short.’”

She raised a valid point, but... yeah. At least adopt a “wait and see” stance. Don’t re-condemn someone off an apology. Call them out again if they FAIL again. This is just putting the cancellation before the horse.

I swear Americans don’t have enough real issues in their lives.

LMM has done more to promote minorities on stage and screen than anyone else in the last dozen years or so. Too fucking bad if there’s not enough of a particular minority featured in “In the Heights” - he shouldn’t have to apologize for shit.
