I knew last week that Daryl was going to be the antsiest in Alexandria. He was a survivalist nomad even before the world went to shit, so settling down is barely in his nature. He's got to feel so out of place and useless, and the fact that Deanna can't even come up with a job for him only compounds the matter.

That sounds like your parents respected their own daughter's agency but, knowing how most parents are about that sort of thing, wanted to be responsible charges while hosting other people's daughters under their own roof. That's a pretty cool tack. I like your parents now.
