This shit right here is what Twitter was made for.

The writers explain that, “The Ivanka Trump label now clocks in alongside mall staples Banana Republic and Ann Taylor,” beneath DKNY and Burberry.

I did some damage at the mall this weekend and deeply enjoyed passing over Ivanka’s shoes in favor of other, better brands as though she were standing directly in front of me.

So I’ve been reading comments on other sites today which is never good for my bloodpressure, and can I just reiterate 2 things that most Jez people know:

I thought places like Nordstrom were going to suffer big time for refusing to stock Ivanka’s clothing/jewelry line. (*end sarcasm*) I always thought her line was too home shopping network to attract the upper eschlon of society.

$69-a-month Birchbox-style subscription filled with “exclusive and vintage Donald J. Trump merchandise.”

“Slightly positive” is the best she can do among conservative shoppers? Ouch.

I was dress shopping with my 13-year-old daughter over the weekend, and we came across a piece at Lord & Taylor that briefly caught her eye. The look of dread in her eyes when she saw the Ivanka Trump label and tossed it back on the rack was definitely a proud papa moment.

They may claim to hate it for all those reasons, but dollars to donuts, they are in there every other day buying stuff, with their MAGA hats perched high, AK-47s strapped to their backs and a cart full of pizza rolls and Natty Light.

Come up with a new way for a rep to have face to face contact with his constituents and I’ll consider this one obsolete. They spend more than enough time away from home or only talking to people who give them scads of money, there needs to be at least something where the average person can somewhat easily get out and

Eh, Wal-mart’s a bit upscale for Ivanka Trump’s garbage.

Well, it’s kind of funny that the Republicans (the first to complain about “safe spaces” and “snowflakes”) run away like scared rabbits at the thought of being confronted by their constituents. It’s like these people don’t think they’re answerable to anybody or something.

Targeting Walmart would be ideal for her demographic, ince it’s where most of Orange Cosby’s supporters hang out and are filmed, usually ranting at people of color.

Do I expect a purple state Democrat to show up to a senior center and get bellowed at for 2 hours before fielding her third question?

Wal-Mart epitomizes almost everything modern conservatives claim to hate. The stores are filled with products made overseas. Wal-Marts drive familyowned businesses into bankruptcy and have devastated small communities. The wages are so low they actually help their employees apply for government services.

And although many are their constituents, many are probably...not their constituents.

You couldn’t be more wrong. Town Halls are often the ONLY opportunity that constituents get to talk to the congress person. And if they are doing things that are harmful to their constituents, it’s an opportunity to voice their displeasure. These congress people WORK for their constituents and therefore should have

I think it’s often the way they are most accountable to constituents between elections. Phone calls, letters, and emails are filtered through staff. They might get a report that says “x number of people contacted us who were against the AHCA.”But what the representative actually sees is going to be a sliver. At town

Nope. Gotta give ‘em hell when they’re being ridiculous and support their good efforts.
