Well, I will add that some, not all, of the "big name" actor cameos are unwarranted and unnecesary, and even detract from the story, but I'm not altogether sure that is Lynch's fault. It just could possibly be a typical studio executive intrusion based on the flawed premise that such a cast draws viewers.

I agree with you about the music cameos, for the most part, but on nothing else.

If they went througg a full season with Jimmy fully evolved into Saul Goodman, with the show being as dark as BB, the rarings would be through the roof. But at that point we have a show no one wants to end, but yet must end for obvious reasons.

He manipulated a bunch of old women in their final years to accept a huge settlement with no regard for the coffers of the big law firms who wanted to drag it out for years, actually.

You're right. I didn't hear them until the third time I watched the episode, but I sure noticed them then.

Check out The Death Of Samantha from her album Approximate Infinite Universe. She also had some decent tracks on the Double Fantasy album by her and John.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think something Andy said might be a further sign he's been compromised. Since Lucy seems to think Agent Cooper has been missing all this time, why should she and Andy expect him to send a card on Wally Brando's birthday? Also, since Andy seems to know the truck of

You mean like you trying to fool all of us here into thinking you are so far above all this?

I loved Frank's reaction when he was told Wally was wanting to see him to "pay his respects". Almost like Lynch's way of warning those of us who might consider him an acquired taste at best. "Oh boy".

I don't think it is, but it might well be. I do think, for no reason I can really put my finger on, that Otis is a younger version of the old waiter from the Great Northern, which would mean he has a connection to the Giant. There's some kind of similarity to the old man, his looks and actions.

Actually he wrote and directed the finale hoping it would be renewed. He didn't do most of season 1 either. He and Frost mainly just executive produced the series. Lynch directed, and wrote or co-wrote with Frost, maybe six, at most seven episodes of the entire series.

I always took Bob to be a low level demon feeding on his host's darker drives and desires. I was always quite satisfied with that view, as opposed to him being Satan or some higher level malevolent deity. He just does his thing, feeding off the pain and suffering he creates like a really good short order cook, as

Lynch released the cast list, and Bowie wasn't on it.

They hide in "the dark within" of their host's unconscious minds, but can see and influence not only their surrounding environment, but their conscious minds and actions. Maybe using their hosts desires and instincts like a saddle and bridle.

I was wondering about that myself. Or maybe someone else's? I hope we get more with him and Beulah, but I doubt we will.

I have to say, Emily, I disagree with you about Ray shooting Dark Coop. I like Ray, he's an example of an heroic villain. He has demonstrated, from the beginning, that he is not the least bit intimidated by Dark Coop, which in itself seems to drive "Mr. C" to distraction. Maybe this is a demonstrated prerequisite to

Yoko was actually capable of recording decent songs, believe it or not.

I wasn't going by her being filipina, I was going by her being smoking hot and Reznor being an old man who likely gets off on watching her fuck.

I went back and watched that episode again specifically wanting to hear the man's voice, which sounded elderly. Honestly it sounded more like Doc Harward or someone his age. Of course the Black Lodge Mike isn't exactly talking in his normal tone of voice.

Thanks for taking the time and effort, but I knew what you meant. I just don't see it as objectionable as a work of fiction, or art, any more than I see Tony Soprano murdering someone in the context of The Sopranos as objectionable. Also, Bob raped Leland as a young boy before he did Laura. Rape and child molestation
