I felt like the movie neglected to make Ozymandias sympathetic. Snyder literally told the actor to play it as a second generation Nazi. It vindicates Rorschach's perspective too much.

Wait. Opposing Hitler is misogynist microaggression. Oh. Oh. I got it. He was a low testosterone, multi-ethnic, vegetarian male who was opposed to patriarchal Abrahamic cultures. He had complicated intersectional views. All he cared about was pretty blonde hair, reading, opera, shopping local, and resisting western

Everyone who keeps saying it's tiring keep getting proven wrong. If people are tired of it, they can always just opt to skip 2/3rds of the movies. You don't need an alternative to happiness in entertainment, you just need to consume less entertainment.

I think the appeal of Trump is also overthrowing an oligarchy. In fact, I think that's what the appeal of everyone besides Clinton and Bush who ran was.

I imagine a Goyer Miracle/Barda movie being very much about BDSM. "He can escape anything but when she chokes him, he doesn't want to escape."

I had that in mind, actually, as a revamp method for the Routh films. Reveal he never made it back from Krypton. He got waylaid by Mongul and/or Brainiac and what he returned to was a funhouse world designed to test and break him.

Do they need to hire e too since I pitched this as an exit strategy for the New 52? The New 52 where: J'Onn J'Onzz didn't found the JLA, Volthoom wielded a ring, Superman dates Wonder Woman, and Gotham is ruled by owls. Seriously, this would have worked for either the recent comics or movies.

I think Eisenberg is already the perfect cast as an Eisenberg Mxyzptlk.

Apparently Shazam is set in a separate universe.

The Onion AV Club reviewers clearly know how to incapacitate without snapping necks:

They're saving Bullseye for the other Netflix show.

See, I think you bring Bishop in and set the whole thing up for her to take over the series in the second season, with Renner becoming increasingly sparse.

I think it fits as well as Jessica Jones. There's something to be said for a story that has to be expanded for television rather than have things get dropped.

Nick Blood could also be a great vampire name. He's a vampire so, naturally, he nicks blood.

Like I say, I'd have the show open with Clint and Bobby getting hitched in Vegas and divorced on Monday. Set it pre-Avengers. That buys it the needed space from SHIELD and you could have Coulsen and/or Fury show up at the end of the season to recruit Clint, leading into Avengers.

And while I'm thinking out loud, part of how you could take advantage of the flashback nature of the show and tie it into Netflix would also be to get David Tennant back for an episode as Killgrave. Maybe throw in Matt Murdock as his lawyer.

I think this enhances my interest in it because it would give us a template for a Marvel character getting a tonally different spinoff (although Agent Carter also did that). I think you do what Lou Grant's show did relative to MTM. He's playing Hawkeye. It's "in continuity" with the movies (although maybe a prequel).

If it works in some of the Fraction run with Kate Bishop and Pizza Dog, I'd be up for that. Those elements are great but they don't fit into the "married and settled" present day version from the movies. Maybe work in a crossover with Marvel's Most Wanted that has him (briefly) married to Mockingbird, which would also

I think with a star of Renner's caliber interested, you'd probably see new/additional resources pumped in.

I think the "embarassing parts" are pluses. I want to see the gnomes on motorcycles and pop culture references. That's more appealing to me than straight fantasy.
