In the words of Dan Harmon: "The finale airs in a couple hours. I'm gonna delete my Twitter app and take a couple weeks off the internet and no interviews and I love you"

This season seems to call that into question though. I think maybe the thing is: Harmon wants to succeed outside of Community and so does Jeff and Harmon voices this concern through Jeff. I think one solution to that might be Harmon taking Jeff and trying to succeed outside of Greendale together. The difference with

Also, apparently, Schrab fought to get Harmon as himself and thought his reluctance was modesty until Harmon explained that he just didn't think it was FUNNY. Whereas having the fake Harmon was a better joke. I suspect "fake Briggs" fell under a similar line of thought. A "fake Briggs" is making fun of the guy whereas

The more I think about this, the more I think the solution is possibly one or more spinoffs. It doesn't need to be strictly the AD route.

So… With Joel McHale (and Ken Jeong and a few others) prepared to stick it out and other actors moving on… and with the talk of Yahoo! WANTING a 7th season, what do you guys think about a Joel McHale helmed spinoff? A "Community Law" (or whatever) that could be our chance to see Dan Harmon go a little bit David E.

I figured they were filmed to be run under credits.

Well, Briggs is a real guy. He's just played by an actor in the episode.

I don't think anywhere. It's just part of Dan Harmon cribbing from his life for the show.

I believe at least parts of this episode were the last day of filming for the show. I recall seeing set pictures from the last day of filming and they were in these outfits. So the party at the apartment was the season wrap party.

They really get the incest right.

I thought the Kleenex and Vaseline next to his research station were a tasteful touch.

"Jesus wept… for there were no more worlds to conquer."

What if Todd was one of us?

I really would be up for him in a Pierce-type role is the show continues.

It might also be because Harmon is known to pump his own money back into the show… Or he did for the first two years anyway. Then he bought a house. Then he moved into a castle.* Then he got married.

I am reminded of when I saw Cabin in the Woods. There were so many scenes that had me giggling that I felt really removed from the audience in the theater. I cracked up at Hemsworth revving the motorcycle for that jump because I knew I was in for a Wile E. Coyote death sequence. But everybody else was quiet and a few

Rewatchability is a big topic for me. I've continuously suggested having film sites that are reviewed only in various states (all sick reviews, all "just dumped" reviews, all drunk reviews, reviews on mute) but the most practical I think is the idea of the "watch it twice in a row" review. Which would completely

I have had a feeling for awhile and this episode crystalizes it:

Abed/Annie are apparently working as a Mr. and Mrs. Smith style team in the new espionage-themed Paintball episode!

I agree in that there's something to root for there.
